We had an incredible weekend attending the Thrianta Nationals at the Carolina Rabbit Rebellion 2025 in Pendleton, SC. Arden's Thrianta, Debbie had an amazing showing. I tried to get as many pictures as I could but it was a very busy show. Big shout out to the American Thrianta Rabbit Association for being so supportive of their members. They are all so wonderful with youth members and take so much time to educate and mentor.

For Thrianta Nationals, Arden's senior doe, Debbie took (Youth) Best of Breed as well as (Youth) Best Fur. Her other senior doe, Apple won (Youth) 2nd place senior doe. Her senior buck, Fox won (Youth) 3rd place senior buck.

Debbie also won (Youth) Best of Breed for the Thrianta specialty Friday night and her other senior doe, Apple, took (Youth) Best Fur that night.

❤️For the rest of the all-breed shows Debbie also placed very well.

Champagne D’ Argents are so amazing! Their coats go through such a fun transformation from a solid dark slate (when they are young) to silver with a slate undertone as they grow out. These babies are just starting to show hints of silvering on their nose, eyes, and ears. Soon, they will look just like mom. 🖤🩶🤍

We took a trip to the upstate yesterday for Arden to participate in showmanship at AgFest with the SC Governors School. We had so much fun and it was a great 4H/FFA youth event. Arden is doing really well with her Showmanship competitions and has gaineded so much confidence in public speaking. She’s decided to take on more of a challenge and is switching to a different breed for this year’s project to keep her on her toes. Stay tuned to find out which one. 🐇 Feel free to leave your guess on what breed she chose in the comments…Hint💥: it’s a fiesty one!

Happy St. Patrick’s day ☘️! You know the Creme D’ Argents and Thriantas are up to some tricks! A very sweet friend traded a bunch of homemade bunny cowboy and leprechaun hats for Arden to sell to save money for her rabbit showing funds in exchange for weekly farm fresh eggs. 🫶🏻 Gotta love a good farm barter. They also work great for chickens 😍. We can ship them or bring some to shows as well for all of our bunny friends. They are so adorable! Some have ear holes, while others can be tied on.

I sat Arden down not too long ago and explained the expenses of showing rabbits. Entry fees, gas, hotel, food… etc. She was really excited to try and find ways to help and pitch in and decided to make a lemonade/farm stand. She peeled all of the dried loofahs from last years garden and set aside the seeds. She sold them as sponges and packed the seeds in little envelopes. She hand poured some amazing candles. She also baked homemade sourdough chocolate chip cookies and made fresh, hand squeezed lemonade. She added some of our farm fresh eggs to the stand as well. She had a super successful first day and can’t wait to do it again and often in the future. I am very proud of how much time she puts into the bunnies and her passion for them.

What an exciting weekend it’s been in Florida. The Green Cove rabbit show is one of our favorites! Everything is so well organized with amazing people and all the good vibes. Such a great judge line up too! I loved that Arden got to meet some new judges and work with some really supportive and kind ones she’s met before 🫶🏻. Arden’s Champagne D’ Argent line is so much fun for her to show in open. There was a nice Champ line up today! She got Best of Breed in all three shows (A, B, and C) with three different age classes and three different bucks. Radish, her senior doe, took Best Opposite of Breed in all three shows. To us that shows there is a great present, up and coming, and future for the herd. Big props to 11 week old Dunkin (Champagne buck) for winning BOB in show C 💪🏻. Arden had a fun Creme D’ Argent speciality that she got a BOB with Teal Stone Homestead’s buck, Ending. Cherry on top was Arden’s amazing Reserve in Show win with her 6/8 Champagne buck.

Got the bunnies out for a little snow fun too!

We went to the Queen City New Years Rabbit Show to support our friends in the Dixieland Creme D'Argent Rabbit Association and bring out a couple rabbits we don’t usually get to put on the show table. Let me just say…don’t sleep on this show like we did in the past! It was so much fun and so nicely organized. Arden had the best time! Most of our rabbits are molting or have babies so we weren’t sure if we should bring any…but, we really wanted to go. We are so glad we did. Milo, Arden’s handsome Champagne buck, showed why he did so well at convention and won a Best in Show earning Arden the cutest crown! The awards at this show are awesome 👑. Her other bunnies won a few legs which is always a big celebration. The judges were amazing and there was definitely an extra fun energy with this show. It really was so nice to see such a great and full lineup of Creme D’ Argents and Champagne D’ Argents at a southern show 🫶🏻! Long story short…put this show on your calendar for next time and congrats to Arden! 🎉. 🐰

We were able to sneak away for a quick rabbit show weekend in Iva, SC. This is such a busy time of year… but, I was happy we could squeeze it in, and it was so worth it. Arden got several legs that helped a couple of rabbits become grand champions. We also debuted a little secret our rabbitry has been keeping! We started a small Thrianta program ❤️. All Thriantas received good feedback with one very sweet doe, Debbie, doing exceptionally well winning one BOS and two BOB out of a nice showing. I did a terrible job keeping up with photos today, but got a quick one of Debbie (BOB) and Arden with Judge Piper. She always takes time to give detailed feedback for Arden. We appreciate her and all of the judges very much 🫶🏻. Big shout out to Ending from Tealstone Homestead for getting two BOS 💪🏻 out of a nice line up of Crème D’ Argents. This show had several cute youth events and Arden got to participate in Showmansip as well. Cherry on top, Arden found a snow sled at the local grocery store…for that one in ten year snow storm that hits the Charleston, SC area 😂. She will be prepared ❄️. No more trash can lid sledding for our family! I couldn’t say no to that very hopeful face.

The girls and I went around the Kentucky, ARBA convention and took some pics of our favorite rabbits. There were so many amazing bunnies there. We could have kept going and going… and going.🫶🏻🐇

Wonderful day of 🍀4H🍀 learning and laughs. Arden took Reserve Champion for Rabbit Showmanship with her sweet, tri colored Mini Rex, Echinacea at the Orangeburg Fair. It amazes me how dedicated Arden is to her bunnies. All of the 4H kiddos did great and it was nice to celebrate how talented they are.
