Arden dropped off the rabbit toys she hand made for the local shelter bunnies out of the loofahs she grew in her 4H garden project. Such a sweet moment! She got to visit with each bunny and give them some love. ❤️❤️❤️

Fun trip to Covington, GA for a SEBACS rabbit show. The Thriantas, Apple and Topaz continue to do well and added on a few legs. The Champagne D'Argent grow outs are making it very tough to make decisions about them this year (in a good way!) We are (not so patiently) waiting for them to make that full coat change as they switch over from juniors to intermediate. Jolene got RIS for youth, show C 🩶. Arden enjoyed the youth events and got 1st place in showmanship and with her poster. We really enjoyed how supportive of the youth this show was.

Wonderful show this weekend in Aiken, SC! I took such a small amount of pics because we were having so much fun catching up with old friends and making new ones. The Champagnes had nice numbers on the table (13) and our juniors, that were showing up in class because of weights, did a fantastic job collecting legs. The Thriantas continue to hold their ground as well with Apple (SR Doe) getting a youth reserve in show Friday night ❤️.
Arden got a special opportunity to bring home a very handsome English Lop from the very kind and amazing Jenny Wauson 🫶🏻. This is a breed that Arden has always been very interested in working with. The best way to learn about a breed is to work with them hands on. Although we are a small rabbitry with very organized goals, sometimes you just need to have some fun and snuggle a bunny that makes your heart happy.

We had an awesome time in Hickory, NC today at the QCRS rabbit show. Arden brought a couple of junior, Champagne D’ Argents for their showing debut. She got great feedback about all of them with one special gal, Zola making quite an entrance with two, youth Reserve in Shows as a 4.5 month old junior showing as an intermediate because of weight 💪🏻. Her Thrianta buck, Topaz also snagged another leg as he continues to fill out. We love how organized and friendly this show always is. Thanks of course to all the judges for the detailed feedback that always helps Arden stay focused and ambitious. 🫶🏻

Awesome quick trip to Pendleton for a rabbit show and 4H clinic for Arden to participate in for extra practice before fair season starts. Arden learned so much from amazing 4H leadership and mentors.
As for the rabbit show, Arden’s Champagne D’ Argent “Champagne Super Nova” snagged a (youth) Best in Show and a (youth) Reserve in Show 😍. We had a wonderful time with friends and great judges.

Maybe we can call this baby 8:00 🕗! We are a huge stickler for ears over here. A strong ear base is very important to us. This could be an injury from litter mates piling on top of each other. It could also be a consequence of the extreme heat and humidity that we’ve been having since March. Genetics also play a role in good ears. Whatever the reason, this baby will not be a part of our breeding line. However, he sure is cute 🙂.

We had an incredible weekend attending the Thrianta Nationals at the Carolina Rabbit Rebellion 2025 in Pendleton, SC. Arden's Thrianta, Debbie had an amazing showing. I tried to get as many pictures as I could but it was a very busy show. Big shout out to the American Thrianta Rabbit Association for being so supportive of their members. They are all so wonderful with youth members and take so much time to educate and mentor.

For Thrianta Nationals, Arden's senior doe, Debbie took (Youth) Best of Breed as well as (Youth) Best Fur. Her other senior doe, Apple won (Youth) 2nd place senior doe. Her senior buck, Fox won (Youth) 3rd place senior buck.

Debbie also won (Youth) Best of Breed for the Thrianta specialty Friday night and her other senior doe, Apple, took (Youth) Best Fur that night.

❤️For the rest of the all-breed shows Debbie also placed very well.

Champagne D’ Argents are so amazing! Their coats go through such a fun transformation from a solid dark slate (when they are young) to silver with a slate undertone as they grow out. These babies are just starting to show hints of silvering on their nose, eyes, and ears. Soon, they will look just like mom. 🖤🩶🤍

We took a trip to the upstate yesterday for Arden to participate in showmanship at AgFest with the SC Governors School. We had so much fun and it was a great 4H/FFA youth event. Arden is doing really well with her Showmanship competitions and has gaineded so much confidence in public speaking. She’s decided to take on more of a challenge and is switching to a different breed for this year’s project to keep her on her toes. Stay tuned to find out which one. 🐇 Feel free to leave your guess on what breed she chose in the comments…Hint💥: it’s a fiesty one!

Happy St. Patrick’s day ☘️! You know the Creme D’ Argents and Thriantas are up to some tricks! A very sweet friend traded a bunch of homemade bunny cowboy and leprechaun hats for Arden to sell to save money for her rabbit showing funds in exchange for weekly farm fresh eggs. 🫶🏻 Gotta love a good farm barter. They also work great for chickens 😍. We can ship them or bring some to shows as well for all of our bunny friends. They are so adorable! Some have ear holes, while others can be tied on.

I sat Arden down not too long ago and explained the expenses of showing rabbits. Entry fees, gas, hotel, food… etc. She was really excited to try and find ways to help and pitch in and decided to make a lemonade/farm stand. She peeled all of the dried loofahs from last years garden and set aside the seeds. She sold them as sponges and packed the seeds in little envelopes. She hand poured some amazing candles. She also baked homemade sourdough chocolate chip cookies and made fresh, hand squeezed lemonade. She added some of our farm fresh eggs to the stand as well. She had a super successful first day and can’t wait to do it again and often in the future. I am very proud of how much time she puts into the bunnies and her passion for them.
