These guys were bottle fed from 3-8 weeks due to mom weaning them early. They have been eating solid foods for 2+ weeks now and are doing well on the solids.

I am in shock and completely surprised this little guy managed to over come his respiratory issues he started experiencing last Wednesday. When I had noticed he had dropped weight and had respiratory issues I was scheduled to leave Thursday morning and my husband was going to be responsible for all the animals. I gave him the detailed instructions, woke up early to make sure Mr. Tiny was fed by me one more time before leaving. I had very little hope he would pull through.

Respiratory issues in rabbits can be deadly and with him struggling with his weight I didn’t think he would make it. I asked my husband to do his best while I was gone and new Madison would be home Friday evening to help with the rabbits. Saturday she sent me a picture of herself feeding him and said he was doing good.

Today I come home and check on him. He is visibly bigger in size, happy and active with no respiratory issues.

One thing I tried but didn’t know if it would help was I mixed the critical care with colloidal silver instead of plain water. Colloidal silver is known for anti microbial properties but I have never had a chance to try it on a sick animal.

Mr. tiny didn’t handle being weaned off the formula, he instantly lost an ounce. He also gained a respiratory issue. I am back to bottle feeding him and giving him some critical care. It’s possible he might be a fader and may not pull through but for now I will continue to supplement with formula and see what happens.
