Horsfall Farm

We are a small hobby farm that started as a rabbitry. We have highland cows, goats, sheep, rabbits, chickens and ducks now.

We offer farm fresh eggs and produce when available.

If you are looking for something fall themed and new to try come support these guys. They are just down the road from us and have something happening often.

Waiting patiently for Blue Bell to calve.

I have at least 5 maybe 6 silky hens and 1 serama sitting on these eggs. Also the reason they keep breaking them and the nest box is absolutely destroyed right now.

For those who may be wondering if we are doing our pumpkin patch this year, we have decided to not host our pumpkin patch at the farm.

The decision was not easy to make but hosting such an event takes a lot of time and commitment to share our farm with the community. Hosting makes it hard for us to attend other events.

When we started our pumpkin patch our daughter Madison was at Cane Bay High and participating in their FFA program. Last year she started attending high school at the John De La Howe Governors School for Agriculture. This is her senior year and she has chosen to show a cow this fall. If we hosted the pumpkin patch we would miss all of her cow shows.

We are so thankful for all the love and support we received the last two years during our pumpkin patch season. If life allows us we will try again next year.

For several months now, my free-range birds have been slowly disappearing; some have vanished completely, while others have left behind a trail of feathers leading from the fence line into the woods. After installing game trail cameras, this bobcat showed up on the footage.

My silkie hens have hatched all these babies and I don’t need to keep any of them.

They are either silkie or serama/silkie mix fully feathered and partially feathered.

Ready for new coops today.

Straight run, farm pickup.

Pm if you’re interested in them.

This little hen finally hatched a precious baby which ended up being a little duckling. Either way she is going to mother it with all her heart.
