I am writing writing this post with Hope and a Heavy Heart.

Today Sophia Ruah's Super Sitters will be closing its doors after serving the Helena community for 16 long and wonderful years. We are not closing due to any problems we have encountered but much the opposite.

As the owner I have chosen to pursue a profession which takes my full attention a dedication. I choose to serve the Helena community in a different way and I will be training to become a funeral director in the Helena area, with some wonderful mentors who are skillful and poised in their positions.

HOWEVER, if you already have booked a sitting with Sophia Ruah's Super Sitters we intend to do our best to finish what our responsibilities as sitters have guaranteed. So don't panic about being left without a sitter, this will NOT happen.

ALSO, if you are needing somewhere to go with your sitting needs, please email, text, call or message. I can guide you in the right direction. Some of our sitters will be giving out their names and numbers to continue to sit for their favorite pets and families.

Again, THANK YOU, thank you Helena. I have loved working for such an incredible community of people and pets.

Sophia Ruah's Super Sitters would like to welcome yet another wonderful sitter to the team. Blake Molesh will be an excellent addition to the business.

Growing up I raised chickens, had three dogs, a bearded dragon, fish, and multiple cats. How to take care of animals was a skill that was instilled in me at an early age. Recently I graduated from Carroll College and I am excited to help others take care of their beloved pets all while forming relationships with clients and animals. It is a privilege and an honor to be a Super Sitter!

Hello! My name is Julia Malmo and I am a senior at Carroll College where I am majoring in mathematics with minors in chemistry and anthrozoology. I’m a born and raised Idahoan who loves living in the Montana mountains. I have always had dogs and cats and have experience around horses too. I’ve also taken care of salamanders and an assortment of reptiles. Basically, I’ve been in love with animals for as long as I can remember and I can’t wait to meet yours!

I would like to welcome Dymond to our team of Super Sitters!

My name is Dymond and I love animals and of course tacos. I am 17 years old and I am going to the PIMA program in October in Dillon, Montana. I have 5 dogs that I love very much. I have grown up around animals. I've taken care of dogs, horses, and cats before. I also have a job taking care of kids. I enjoy watching and caring for these animals and I am not afraid of a challenge.

Please, watch your dogs for heat stroke during these hot, hot days.

Also remember that hot dogs can have some of the symptoms of heat stroke. If you are ever worried that your dog may be exhibiting actual symptoms please call your veterinarian or one of these emergency numbers.
