๐Œ๐ž๐ž๐ญ ๐ƒ๐š๐ฏ๐ž. (๐Ž๐ซ ๐ƒ๐š๐ฏ๐ข๐, ๐ฐ๐ก๐ž๐ง ๐ก๐žโ€™๐ฌ ๐›๐ž๐ข๐ง๐  ๐š ๐ฆ๐ž๐ง๐š๐œ๐ž.)

About six years ago, Dave decided he was done with the stray life. He didnโ€™t wait for an invitation; he literally jumped on Dr. Willisโ€™s car at Wendy's.

He was a scruffy 1-2 year old orange tabby who clearly knew a good deal when he saw one. ๐Ÿš—

Fast forward to today: Dave is approximately 8 years old, a proudly "sturdy" orange gentleman, and the undisputed ruler of this clinic.

Does he provide moral support to our patients? Absolutely not. ๐Ÿ˜…
Does he help the staff? Only if "helping" involves treats. ๐Ÿคทโ€โ™€๏ธ

Dave is a classic orange catโ€”he does exactly what he wants, when he wants. He can be sweet if the mood strikes him (and if you have something he wants), but mostly he just roams the halls, claims every chair (and the printer) as his own, and reminds us all that heโ€™s the boss. ๐Ÿ˜ผ๐Ÿ‘‘

Daveโ€™s story started in a parking lot, and thanks to Dr. Willis, it turned into a life of luxury and "Big Orange Energy." But not every stray in Louisiana is as bold (or as lucky) as Dave.
