From wagging tails to happy tears, this video shows how love and teamwork can change lives. Local businesses stepped up in a big way—covering adoption fees and donating amazing supplies—so these deserving dogs could finally find their forever homes.

Thank you Douglas County Animal Shelter for helping Tiny find her forever home!

Tiny was one of 18 dogs we recently removed from a residence in Moultrie County. This intake pushed us beyond maximum capacity, so Douglas County offered a kennel for Tiny which lead to this amazing outcome! 🐾🎉👍

Meet Rocco – The Sweetheart with a Big Personality! 🐾💙

Rocco is a handsome 10-month-old pit bull pup with a heart as big as his smile! According to his foster, he recently had a playdate with another adoptable dog — he was patient and tolerant until he’d had enough of being jumped on, then politely let the other pup know. 😄

When he’s not setting polite boundaries, Rocco is nothing but amazingly sweet and eager to soak up affection.

He’s still working his way through our vetting process, but he’s already in the rotation and will be fully vetted soon.
