Beau is a 3 year old registered Haflinger gelding standing 59.5 inches tall. He is trained to ride and drive.
Beau has 3 soft, easy gaits, he knows his leads and has great transitions through walk, trot and canter. He will ride on a loose rein or with contact, and does well in a snaffle or curb bit.
Last Saturday he was on a trail ride with over 200 other horses, and handled it like a pro. He is great on the trailer, and stands well tied.

Offered from Silver Maple Equine out of Ohio, Nicky is an athletic and versatile gelding with a strong dressage foundation and plenty of common sense. He schools walk-trot-canter with ease, picks up his leads, and is already working on lateral movements like leg yields and shoulder-in, while offering a big stretchy trot and a smooth rocking-horse canter.

Beyond the arena, he’s been trail ridden extensively—including overnight camping trips—and also has solid driving experience, making him a rare all-around partner who’s quiet, responsive, and a joy to handle both under saddle and in harness.

Looking for an awesome dressage prospect with loads of common sense and a great foundation? Nicky could be your man! He has been on our farm for a year now, and we have enjoyed every minute.

Nicky's riding training has been mostly Dressage focused, and he has a great walk-trot-canter, he knows his leads, and is learning leg-yields and shoulder-in. He will jog around nice and slow, but push him, and you'll find a big stretchy trot with lots of extension. He has the best rocking horse canter around, and he'll walk to canter on either lead. He listens to seat, leg,and voice aids, and he's got great brakes.

Nicky has also been ridden western quite a bit, and he's been all over the trails at Saltfork State Park. He's been on overnight camping trips, and stood well tied at the highline.

Trailering is no problem, he is easy to load and hauls well. He stands in cross ties, and is a total kitten to handle on the ground.

Nicky also has lots of driving training in the two wheeled cart and the carriage. He's been on the road and through town. Other horses, ponies, barking dogs, and cattle do not bother him at all.

Denari of Silver Maple
4 year old registered Friesian Sport Horse mare. She is 1/2 Friesian, 1/4 Thoroughbred, 1/4 Percheron.

Denari is very well trained to ride as well as drive.
She has spent many hours on trails, and went camping with us at Saltfork State Park. She is steady and surefooted, and crosses water, logs, and handles the hills with ease. She rides out alone or with other horses.
Denari has been started in Dressage, and has a great rhythmic trot, and lovely canter. She will leg-yield, shoulder-in, and picks up both leads. We have popped her over low jumps, and she has lots of potential.
She has been ridden on the road, in the arena, out on trails, and is not bothered by any commotion.
Denari stands to bathe, braid, and tack up, and is super sweet to have around in the barn.
She stands 16 hands tall

Newt is well trained to ride and drive. He is easy to handle and has great barn manners. He has been ridden on the road, in the fields and he will canter a nice circle. Newt picks up both leads, side passes, backs up nicely, and has a great stop.
He has been ridden English and Western, and is a fun, uncomplicated ride.
He drives in the carriage or cart, and does well on the road and through traffic.

Ashland Haflinger Sale is over for the year!
We had so much fun, and our horses all found new homes.
