Beginnings are scary, endings are usually sad, but it is the middle that counts the most.
Over the past two years, we have had the privilege of helping numerous animals find their forever homes, while also providing a safe haven for those who were too weak or frail to thrive elsewhere. At our sanctuary, these vulnerable creatures have been enveloped in the warmth of love and care, ensuring that their final days are filled with comfort and compassion. Each adoption story has been a testament to the bond between humans and animals, and we take pride in the role we’ve played in facilitating these connections.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who has supported us on this journey in Texas—whether through adoption, donations, volunteering, or simply offering guidance. Your unwavering support has been instrumental in our achievements, and we could not have come this far without you. As we prepare to wind down our operations in Greater Houston over the coming months, we remain committed to finding loving homes for the remaining animals in our care. Our partnership with the wonderful Petco in Rosenberg will continue, ensuring that every animal is placed in a nurturing environment. We are dedicated to maintaining our high standards of animal welfare, and each animal will be matched with the best possible family.
This decision has not been made lightly, and while it marks the end of our chapter in the Greater Houston area, Brendon and Brian are determined to carry on their mission wherever life leads them next. The sanctuary animals will continue to receive the care they deserve, overseen by one of our dedicated board members. Although we are closing this particular chapter, our commitment to animal welfare remains steadfast, and we look forward to new opportunities to make a difference in the lives of animals in need.
