Proud to support my fellow paddlers at Houston Heat Dragon Boat Club! It was a blistering 95 degrees and so sunny outside at 5:30 PM when we took this picture but it still turned out so well! Protip for making this picture look like this: overpower the sun with your own studio lighting!

Huge congratulations to our Houston-based paddlers heading to the 2025 IDBF World Dragon Boat Racing Championships in Brandenburg, Germany! Representing Team USA are Eva, Lucas, Jackson, and Joel from Houston Heat, along with John from Island Warriors and Elizabeth from Hokulele. All six are also proud members of Lone Star Dragons and have trained hard to earn their place on the national team.

We’re beyond proud to see our local athletes take the world stage—your passion, grit, and teamwork are an inspiration to us all. Safe travels and paddle strong… Germany, here they come!

Yesterday, at St. Martin's Episcopal Church, I got a couple amazing pics in the Cloister Garden at just the right time as the sky changed from blue to salmon. Also, I have a closeup shot of the first of five candles of the Advent Wreath being lit, representing the first Sunday of Advent.

On top of the cherry picker for to take the annual Parish Photo. I'm very honored to have done this for the 8th year in a row for this great Church! Afterward, I sampled a bunch of cookies for the cookie competition. Always a fun adventure at St. Martin's Episcopal Church!

Back in my day, the "golden hour" used to be around 7:00 PM. It takes some getting-used-to to adjust to darkness 5:30 PM. It was much darker outside than this picture would lead you to believe!

St. Martin's Episcopal Church hosted their annual Blessing of the Animals yesterday, in honor of St Francis of Assisi, the patron saint of animals. In addition to dogs, you might also find cats, guinea pigs, lizards, fish, and even a spider. All were blessed!

Started off this great Saturday morning with by converting a small eye examination room into yet another headshot studio. It's a 15-minute process but the results look professional. It's time to update your headshots!

Congratulations to Josh and Coutney!
