Sunnyacre Cavaliers Sunnyacre Cavalier King Charles Spaniels are bred for obedience, agility and breed competition where health and temperament are always paramount.

Now recognized by the AKC as fullfilling all the stringent requirements necessary to be a "BREEDER OF MERIT" Sunnyacre Cavaliers are as much at home on an agility course as they are strolling down the hallway of the Nursing Home they visit; bringing smiles to so many residents' faces. They are quick to play but ready to curl up on an open lap at the slightest invitation! Addie is now in her 6th year as a Therapy Dog certified with Therapy Dog International.

2014 – 2025

From the moment you were born I knew how special you would be,,,
You never made our accomplishments together easy, we both had to work very hard to achieve all that we did together. But somehow you still excelled; becoming the only Cavalier King Charles Spaniel in the world to become an AKC Breed Champion, Agility Champion and a Rally Champion!
You earned your Obedience CDX Title and were trained thru Utility. You were always such an enthusiastic worker; and no one had a faster “Go-out” for directed jumping than you! In Agility you were famous for jumping off the dog-walk contact and flying off the teeter while barely horizontal! But you still managed to achieve 3 Master Agility Championships!
You were with me almost 11 years; I helped your mama Rose while she birthed you and was there at the end as you struggled for your final breaths. I’m so sorry if you suffered at all. You were chasing bunnies and birds in the afternoon and suddenly overnight struggled to breathe. I’m thankful you could still do all the things you loved till almost your last breath. You would never have tolerated being sidelined,,, that was never you,,,
I cannot imagine a world without you; my heart breaks to not have you by my side forever.💔
