wner contact us!!! we do have rehoming fees based on several different factors but no money is due until time of adoption. we are in Massachusetts and willing to take dogs from surrounding states and adopt out to surrounding states. we do have questionnaires that will need to be filled out before adoption and home check/video call. we also take all our rescues to get medical care before we will adopt out as we wont adopt out a sick dog. if your looking to rehome we will have you answer separate questions on the dog before taking it in as a rescue! we will do some transport if necessary but depending on where you are located you may need to arrange transport or meet us part way. We want to make sure all our rescues go to forever homes and need to make sure it is the right fit for both the dog and adopter before we will adopt out. We have a huge love for these breeds as they get bad reputations because of bad owners. These breeds are more likely to be killed then adopted in a shelter. This is due to the trauma stress and anxiety that shelters can cause. Which in turn scares the dog who is instantly being judged by the shelter staff and because it shows "aggression" it goes onto the kill list. This is not NOT right. A dog needs to adjust and may not be used to a loud shelter environment or cold cement floors or people they don't know surrounding them. We are a home based rescue with no kennels cages or crates(unless one is wanted with open door). We can separate dogs if they are not friendly with other dogs. We have both fenced in and open yard areas as well as over an acre of woodlands and quiet neighborhood to walk in. They are kept in our house with us and treated as family pets. This helps reduce their stress,anxiety, trauma and in turn makes it a lot easier to find a forever home instead of finding the dog on a kill list. We have lots of experience with these breeds and always make sure all dogs are medically cared for by a vet and behavioral training and socialization is done as well. We want to see our rescues go to loving caring forever homes. If for any reason an adopter is unable to keep their dog we request the dog be returned to us NOT a shelter. This has yet to happen! We also can keep prev. owners updated with pictures videos and messages as well if wanted. We are always accepting donations and large breed dog supplies etc. please contact us if you would like like to make a donation or have extra supplies to donate! we have a gofundme set up as we are a NON PROFIT/ NON KILL rescue and can always use donations as we pay out of pocket for everything no price break from vet no disc. on food toys treats etc. We both work other jobs as well to keep the rescue up and running.
