We use our unique training method "Developing Warmblood Athletes in the Mind & the Body®" to produce exceptional dressage & jumper prospects. About our Warmblood Raising Program:
At High Valley Hanoverians, our youngsters are raised in big, safe play paddocks with numerous other youngsters (and a few older babysitters). This enables the development of confidence, a playful nature and important soc
ial skills. The youngsters enjoy 23x7 turnout on our rolling hills where they develop strong joints and tendons and an athletic foundation far superior to youngsters who are restricted to smaller, more sedentary environments. Each youngster is fed in individual stalls so that they are not competing for food plus this provides HVH caregivers to provide them quality care for coat, hooves, fly spray, sun screen, grooming, etc. The essential daily handling and our “Training Games” approach develops the foundation for lifelong partnering. About our Young Horse Training Program:
Our Young Horse training program "Developing Warmblood Athletes in the Mind & the Body®" is a unique approach that utilizes a variety of essential training components to maximize overall performance, core strength and foundation training. The variety of the work both maximizes and balances the physical and mental conditioning of the Young Horse. Horses in this program benefit from a rock-solid partnering and ground work foundation, a drama free backing process, dressage (and/or Hunter) foundation developed in conjunction with effective conditioning in our combined training fields, over cavaletti gymnastic grids and on extreme mountain trails. Each Young horse is appropriately challenged, encouraged to express his/her playful nature and receives ample encouragement, love and attention. The result is a happy, physically fit athlete who demonstrates the passion to achieve his/her career potential. This program works equally well on older horses that need rehab or re-training.
