Hose Those Toes Dog Grooming, LLC Hi, I’m Shay! I offer grooming services for dogs of all sizes. I grew up in the country with all kinds of animals.

Chickens, rabbits, turkeys, ducks, geese sent straight from the devil, cats, snakes, horses, a cow here and there, ferrets, hedgehogs, even a couple of doves at one point. Aside from horses, one constant in our lives was always having at least one dog around, usually two or three. The first two I remember are our chihuahua, Munchkin, and my dad’s amazing Chesapeake retriever, Mo. Munchy tolerated

us, but Mo loved her little girls almost as much as she loved hunting with my dad. I’ve loved dogs for as long as I can remember, and every time we’ve lost one, they’ve taken a piece of my heart with them. For several years now, I’ve dreamed of being able to spend my days working with dogs, whether that’s grooming, boarding, doggy daycare, or maybe someday even training. While I’m not there yet, starting this business is a step in the right direction.

It truly wasn't a goodbye, "see you later" is here 😍

I have a few openings for December and will be scheduling appointments with an expanded schedule starting in January. There will be a price update January 1, along with client forms and a slight change in procedures as I adjust to the new schedule.

I'm so excited to get back into the swing of things and can't wait to step into this new chapter - full of hope for the future and deeply grateful for everyone who will be part of the story.

Hi everyone,

This is a tough post to make, but it’s something I need to do. After a lot of soul searching and reflection, I’ve made the decision to pause my dog grooming business for the foreseeable future.

This was far from an easy decision. Grooming and caring for your pups has been such a meaningful part of my life, and I’m incredibly grateful for the relationships I’ve built with you and your furry family members. However, for the sake of my physical and mental well-being, I know that stepping away is what I need right now. I was simply too ambitious and burned myself out. This decision is about my own limits and well-being, and in no way reflects on the incredible clients I’ve had the privilege to work with.

This isn’t goodbye, it’s see you later. I fully intend to return to grooming when the time feels right, though I’m not sure yet when that will be.

Thank you all for your kindness, your support, and for trusting me with the care of your pets. It truly means more than I can express.
