Poor pup was in a (stinky) battle with a skunk and hurt one of his nails. After there was no active bleeding, he got a MagnaWave session to help reduce pain & inflammation. After a few more sessions, he should be all good to go!

Trail riding is about one of my favorite things to do with horses. It’s good for the mind (of both horse & rider), and good to just get out of the arena and have an adventure. Whether you’re out walking through the woods or galloping in a field, trail riding is such a breath of fresh air. 🤎

Meet this month’s horse in for training. Ruby is a grade filly in for at least 30 days of groundwork. She hasn’t had a lot of handling, so we’re starting from the very beginning. She can be a bit of a challenge, but that’s what makes training fun. 😄 She’s only had a few sessions as of now and made a lot of progress, so I’m excited to see how far along we can get by the time her time with me is done!

*More whoa than go, but has speed if you ask for it.
*Towards the top of pecking order.
*Easy keeper, barefoot, no maintenance.
*Best suited for confident intermediate kids or small adults & up.
*Stands tied, to be groomed, clips, bathes, great for the farrier, etc.
*Good ground manners.
*No buck, kick, rear, or bite.
*Knows leg cues & started with neck reining.

Roger is a sweet pony with a sensitive soul. He has been trail ridden, crosses water & goes over bridges. He has been shown in gymkhana & trail. If you have a confident intermediate kid, or is a small adult who wants a flashy & fancy pony to hit the trails with or be your next speed partner- Roger is your guy! He is a cribber, but he does good with a cribbing collar. (Will come with collar).

Last week I hauled Roger the hackney to my friend’s house for a young girl to ride him. They did fantastic together! Roger is such a fun little pony. Look out for his sale ad coming soon!
