This year has been full of change but so far all for the best. My 3000sq ft of flowers is now just half of this garden in dahlias. Peonies scattered throughout the 4 acres along with the odd rose bush or other perennials.

Virna Farm is taking a quieter season this year — making space to process life changes, settle into a new job this summer, and rediscover the parts of life that truly bring joy. You may still see occasional pop-up flower sales from my new location, but for now I’m choosing to slow down, breathe deeper, and enjoy the little things again. 🌸
Thank you to everyone who continues to support this little farm and follow along through every season of growth — both in the gardens and in life. 💛

Mystery Dahlias starts/ tubers are ready to go! 4 for $25

I just wanted to pop on here and give a little update. Over the past four months, I’ve had three big life changes, and because of that, I won’t be doing as large of a flower farm this year. I will still be growing my dahlias and a few other flowers in garden spaces at my home east of Barnum.

I also need to rework my schedule this summer, as I’ve started a job at a local long-term care facility. It was wonderful meeting my new coworkers and the residents today. With that, my summertime will look a little different this year.

I hope to host a few Saturday activities in my garden, so keep an eye out for those!

Pulled out the tubers to start potting and growing up cuttings. I have pre order available for 40 sets of 5 mystery dahlia cuttings for $25 that will be ready for pick up May 23rd in Barnum. Comment below with the number of sets you want.
