Hi FB Friends,
I want to introduce our 2 newest rescues, Peanut and Butter. They are Maltese/Poodle mix, both 10 years old. Their owners did not want them any longer and dumped them at the shelter. What we know so far is they are so sweet, starved for human affection and very smart! The Foster Mom is working on their housetraining, they are both up to date on vaccines, fixed and microchipped. They will be posted on the website soon, how can these sweet babies not make you smile.🙂

Hi FB Friends,
Please meet our newest rescue babies, Roxy, an Aussie Shepherd mix and Buddy a Westie terrier, they are a senior bonded pair. The owner died and they were dumped at the shelter. We are still learning about them but both are very sweet.
Tess, a Terrier mix, about 6 years old, found as a stray on the streets. She is a sweetheart and we are still learning about her.
We also have some EXCITING news coming up about the Rescue, stay tuned!!!

AMR is having a Fundraiser at the LAZY DOG CAFE in Thousand Oaks on THURSDAY JUNE 25th. They are located at 172 W Hillcrest Drive (in the Oaks Mall). They are open from 11AM to 11PM. Hi FB Friends,
I need to find a temporary foster for one of my sweet pups, from 6/28-8/10. His name is Bear, he is 12 lbs of love and fun! He can be a little shy at first meeting but will warm up quickly, especially if you have treats. He LOVES playing with other dogs and running around in a backyard. This is SHELBY 💜

Shelby is a precious Terrier Mix, only a year old and weighs 11 lbs. She was found by Animal Control as a stray, terrified and fearful of human contact, but her behavior has improved significantly and she is doing great.
Shelby loves to play with her tennis ball and loves to run around in the grass. She is new to us, so we are still learning about her personality. She is okay with other dogs with a slow introduction.

This is RIVER 💙

River is the sweetest Schnauzer Mix, about 6 years old and weighs 13 lbs. He was rescued from a high kill shelter after being found on the streets.
River can be a little shy at first but is very friendly and cuddly once he gets to know you. He gets along with kids, adults, other dogs, and even cats. He is house trained and we are working on his leash training.

This is RUBIE ❤️

Rubie is an adorable Westie/Poodle mix, about 9 years old and weighs about 20 lbs. Her previous owners dumped her at a high kill shelter with major medical issues. The shelter took care of a mass removal that she had, along with a hernia and her spay. She had surgery for cherry eye and has fully recovered. She is vision impaired but not blind.
She is doing great at her foster home, she loves her walks and car rides. She is okay with other dogs with a proper introduction. She is best suited in an adult home who can spend a lot of time with her.
