Happy Easter from Miss Harley Quinn and I. She got to meet her new family a bit ago, which includes a SmokeshowMC alumni. 🩷🩷🩷 Always makes my heart happy when customers come back for another baby.

This weekend being a holiday weekend included alot of family time, so I see i have some messages to respond to, and I plan to get back to everyone tomorrow. I hope everyone was able to spend time with their loved ones or your furry babies, or even a quiet weekend not working. Thanks for all the love, I appreciate you all.

These 2 ladies are waiting for their perfect homes. They are not worried though because this time of year is a challenge. I usually don't have many kittens left after the wait list, so this is a rare opportunity to bring home a sweet girl without waiting weeks or months.

I'd keep them all if I could ♥️

I'm not looking to dump them, so no discounts are not being entertained unless you are a previous family/customer, then you of course would get one.

These ladies aren't worth any less because they are still here. In fact they are becoming more and more socialized.

Today kind of topped off the discount question for me with someone asking if I'd take 75% less than what I am asking for them. It honestly hurt my heart. Those that follow know that I pour my blood sweat and tears into these babies while working a full time job. I lose alot of sleep making sure they are well cared for. This isn't my job, but I do give up ALOT of time to continue to have kittens. There are so many great families that are SmokeshowMC family members now that most days it doesn't get to me when people expect things from me that are insulting. Those of you looking for the deal, the cheapest maine c**n you can find, this paragraph was mostly for you. Consider what must go into raising animals in your home from birth. What a person gives up to offer these babies or dogs etc.. The misconception is that "breeders make alot of money" . If I made money doing this, it would be amazing...but I assure you, most of the time the litters break even on costs and don't even begin to pay for my time.
I soley do this because I enjoy the kittens, I enjoy the people. I enjoy being part of surprises for family members.

Sweet Miss Poison Ivy was a very special surprise on Tuesday. Her new mom was celebrating her birthday and was given this sweet girl as her birthday present. I made a special trip down to Chicago and back on Tuesday and feel very blessed to have been a part of this special delivery. She was loving on her new mom before I even left. ♥️♥️♥️

Miss Harley Quinn....I've debated on keeping her for future breeding plans, mainly out of fear that Cricket might not have a Smoke girl down the line, but I have a few young ones coming up and I really prefer to wait until later this year or next to hopefully keep one from Cricket since she is still going to have one more, maybe two litters.

Soooo I've decided to make her available to the perfect home. She is a sassy girl like her mom. She took longer to warm up than her sisters and is finally coming around to cuddle on my legs and not be so timid. She is a stunning black smoke like her mom and I may regret not keeping her, but I think she will make someone very happy since smokes are hard to come by.
Born on December 7th, she is ready to find her perfect fit.

Romeo and Juliet were born on March 15th and are growing beautifully.

I actually think they both might end up spoken for from the waitlist, BUT if they become available I will let you all know. Those on the waitlist, I'll be going down the line to check with those with contract wait list spots and go from there. Might be a couple weeks yet for decisions.

These two ladies are so sweet. I wasn't feeling the best last night and wouldn't you know it I had 2 purring babies next to me on the couch. Lois Lane came up and rubbed all over me and purred and then her sister followed and they purred themselves to sleep laying on me. ❤️❤️ I always say they get sweeter when they want to stay here.
