Hi there!! Wow, I really fell off the radar for the summer. Some intentional and some not. My youngest is leaving for college in a few weeks so I've been busy with all the parties, and life changes and what not. My apologies for the long awaited responses and updates I know you all like. I am getting stuff organized and pairing some of our kings and queens on dates for a busy fall/winter kitten season. I can't wait to connect with all of our SmokeshowMC family, friends and new and potential families in the coming weeks and months. I have responded to all of the messages I had for now and will make sure I'm on those faster for the days and weeks ahead.
In the meantime, I'd like to introduce one of my new best friends. I picked her up over the 4th of July weekend from a friend and fellow breeder in Texas. I had gotten one of my loves (Cooper) from Tracey a couple years ago, so when the opportunity arose to add this sweet girl, it was a no brainer. Plus I had admired this girl since the day Tracey posted her on her page, Happy Heart Maine C**n Cattery.
I flew to Texas to pick this girl up, and I am just like any of our kitten families, I was so excited to meet her. I had new toys, treats and all the things to hopefully win her over right away. Tracey was a dear and met me right at the airport, this time we didn't have any security chasing her away so we got to catch up some before I got to take this sweet girl on tour through the airport where we couldn't go 5 feet without someone stopping us and admiring how beautiful she is. She was a good sport until she let me know she had enough socializing for the day. She traveled so well. We bonded fast and she has become one of my best cuddle buddies. Her sweet but spicy personality has been a great addition to the SmokeshowMC breeding family and I look forward to what she will produce. I will be pairing her soon with either Eli, or Azriel. I can't wait for her babies. Without further delay, please meet My sweet girl, "Miss Icee" she is not white, but rather red high smoke, with hints of red/orange coloring. Just beautiful 😍
