Don't you just love a story with a great ending? A big thank you to the PortervilleNow family for sharing the post on Strathmore FFA member Ricardo Gonzalez and his lamb that didn't make weight at the Porterville Fair. He kept his ewe at the Strathmore Farm and went every day to feed and care for her and she looks great soooo.... a BIG thank you goes out to Alex Larson, newly elected president of the Porterville Exchange Club, a former Lindsay FFA member and a local resident who stepped up and made things right by purchasing the lamb. Thank you Alex!!!!

Thank you Strathmore Feed for donating a bag of lamb feed to the buyer of Strathmore FFA Member Ricardo Gonzalez's lamb that didn't make weight at the Porterville Fair. The great news is...... a wonderful community member has bought the lamb!

Anyone able to help out this young Strathmore FFA member whose lamb did not make weight for the Porterville Fair? He did the right thing and took it home to finish. Female and weighs approximately 120 lbs. He has $675 invested in purchase of the lamb and feed and would really like to get as much back as he can.
