Mable update!! 🐶🍞

This soon-to-be momma (🤞🏻) will go in two weeks and some change for a confirmation ultrasound! We will be able to see if she is pregnant, check and see how babies are doing, see heartbeats, and get a pretty rough estimate on how many babies there are!

Currently, besides being the sweetest girl ever, she’s always hungry and I swear she can smell more than she usually does because her nose is always on the ground! 😂 She’s also being a bit lazier.. sooo we’re going to cross our fingers that there are some babies in there!!

Mable is all done with her heat cycle and we’re hoping that this breeding was successful! 🤞🏻 We’ll go back to the vet at the end of this month for a confirmation ultrasound and hopefully get a first look at the little loaves!! 🍞🐶🩷

EXCITING NEWS!! Mable is in heat!

Miss Mable was up bright and early today for her second progesterone test & went for a quick Buc-ee’s run afterward! Hopefully we should only have one more and then she’ll be ready!! 🤩🤞🏻

If I can’t take my corgi then I’m not going!! 🙌🏻

But for real, we do take our corgis anywhere and everywhere! It helps them work on their socialization and learn to be calm in sometimes stressful environments. Our girls love to go out and about!

Always make sure your fur kiddos are up to date on their vaccinations, especially Bordetella, if they are going to be in a public space that allows other dogs. Also, make sure you wait 2 to 3 weeks after they recieve their vaccines before taking them out of their environment to give their immune systems time to build antibodies. Just a fun tip of the day from your science-y, corgi obsessed bestie. 🤪

Welcome to Rockin’ CC Corgis!

We are the Collins family located in Southwest Missouri. We are beginning to breed Pembroke Welsh Corgis in both standard and fluffy coats this year, but have owned them since 2021. Our goal is to find them the very best homes where they will be just as spoiled as ours are. The corgis are basically our children on four legs, so their health and well-being is top priority.

My name is Chloe Collins, the lead corgi addict. I have owned a corgi since 2021 (started with my sweet Beans), and have been involved with canine reproduction since then as well. I’m 25 years old, and currently work full time in an agriculture focused role. I hold a bachelors and masters degree in animal science, where my grad work focused on cattle reproduction and endocrinology. I also have a background in canine reproduction and small animal medicine from working as a vet assistant through college.

My husband Sawyer is a heavy equipment mechanic and an avid hunter. We met back in 2018 when we both lived in North Carolina and have been inseparable ever since! I grew up there and he was stationed at Camp Lejeune. He is actually the one who convinced me to get our first corgi, Beans. Since then we have shared such a love and admiration for this breed. I’m just lucky to have someone who loves the corgis just as much as I do!

Meet the girls of Rockin’ CC Corgis!! 💗🐶

Mable is our only intact female that will be bred this coming Spring 2025! Beans is our first baby who made us fall in love with the breed. She is fixed, but she makes a great couch potato. These two are quite the pair and I can’t wait to see them transition into momma and auntie roles!
