We are one of the few Ohio Hunting Preserves and exotic hunting outfitters to offer such a wide variety of big game animals in one area to hunt. We cater to all hunters! since 1973 and located in the foothills of Appalachia, we’re one of the largest preserves in Southern Ohio and our rugged terrain is enough to test the most avid hunter. In addition to the hunts offered on our property, we book African game safaris. From impala or leopards to crocodiles and klipspringer, or whether you’re a rifle or a bow hunter, we cater to all interests and skill sets. We also offer our own expert taxidermy services for both exotic and African trophies. All game taken here and on safari can be mounted at very reasonable and competitive rates.

I received word from my attorney that the State is going to ask the Ohio Supreme Court to take up the case. I will oppose. They don't have to, or, they can send it back down to the lower court for review again. I'm not surprised but certainly disappointed. The State is, in my opinion, doing this to try and cost me as much money as possible while they use taxpayer dollars. It's disgusting. The Ohio Attorney General's office and the decision makers at the ODNR should be ashamed of themselves, for they are using the power of their positions to try and ruin one small business. A business that opposed an unconstitutional law and won. I'll get off my soapbox now lol. I want to thank everyone who has supported us. I truly appreciate you all.

This is a special weekend for me because the group of men and I share a common bond, even if I didn't really know a couple of them before. We all belonged to the Eta Gamma chapter of the Theta Chi fraternity at Morehead State University in Kentucky. We had a fantastic time hunting, socializing, a bit of adult beverage consumption, story telling, fishing, and just hanging out and being with each other. Two beautiful rams and two absolute banger hogs were icing on the cake. A big thank you especially to Chris for putting the whole thing together. I do believe we have an annual event. Thank you fellas!

Paul has hunted with us many times before, but, the last time was pre Covid. A morning hunt yielded the only ram they saw, and it was a nice one saw Paul made a difficult shot count. Conner found a group hiding in our big hollow, and got Paul on them. Patience was the key, and he finally got a crack at the Four Horn Ram he wanted. Two one shot kills, most excellent!

Chance hunted with us on Saturday, his first guided hunt. It was a birthday present from his mother Chritia who also came along. Chance used his grandfather's old Browning in 30-06 and was certainly happy to be able to use it hunting for the first time. Nice folks, and I do believe that next year's trip is already being considered.

Once again, Nick came to hunt with us, something he has been doing since 1973. Yes, he was here the first year we opened! He brought his nephew Matt, who came the first time as a boy. He said today he was using a 410 on that first hunt. We were very happy to have them back once again, and we know they will be back!
