This is big game hunting at its best. Shawnee Ridge Hunting offers exotic big game hunting in Southern Ohio, including Russian Boar, fallow deer, red stag, corsican ram, Texas dall and much more. We are one of the few Ohio Hunting Preserves and exotic hunting outfitters to offer such a wide variety of big game animals in one area to hunt. We cater to all hunters! since 1973 and located in the foothills of Appalachia, we’re one of the largest preserves in Southern Ohio and our rugged terrain is enough to test the most avid hunter. In addition to the hunts offered on our property, we book African game safaris. From impala or leopards to crocodiles and klipspringer, or whether you’re a rifle or a bow hunter, we cater to all interests and skill sets. We also offer our own expert taxidermy services for both exotic and African trophies. All game taken here and on safari can be mounted at very reasonable and competitive rates.

"Are you staying busy?". That is a question I hear often. When you own a small business, there is always something to do, and often it's not something that is paying you money directly. Unboxing a shipment of forms and materials, maintenance, cleaning, etc. The second picture shows a reattachment of a rams horn after an errant shot. Obviously there's more to do there, but the first thing was to get it solidly put back together. Busy? Yes. Would I have it any other way? No.

We have successfully completed another season at Shawnee Ridge Hunting, surpassing 52 years of continuous operation. We are grateful beyond measure for all the continued business and support from our friends and clients. We are blessed to meet new folks and to have the return year after year of so many of you, who have truly become our friends and family. We look forward to seeing you next season!

Rita was here a couple of months ago with Ethan, Marcus and a couple other folks. This time she got the opportunity to take a nice hog, making an excellent behind the shoulder shot. Despite putting 6.4 miles on the shoe leather this morning, and some more this afternoon, the two fellows were unable to connect with a pig. They just weren't interested in cooperating lol. BUT, there is still meat going home and Rita got her first kill in fine fashion. Well done, Rita!
