We don't have a ribbon photo yet so here's Gander conditioning for water work back in March. He passed his 3rd Senior Hunter test over the weekend, this time with Tim Springer at the line. Tim also ran Althea, 11 month old daughter of Rueben and Haley (Ransom daughter). Althea passed her first Senior test as well. Promising pup owned by Carl Rindelaub.

Why there's not many posts of dogs or puppies lately. We've had a month off from wheping, We've packed every long sunny day with dogs, outdoor stuff and fun. The garden is gardening. Cukes especially are bountiful, this many picked every other day. Moving them to the new bed we made last year seems to have hit the right spot and the trellis setup is working great. Yes, it's dog kennel panels. What else would we use around here.😁

Rainmaker's Roobie Doobie Doo, "Velma", daughter of Rueben and Rouge. 7 months old. Very easy puppy to have around and sweet, smart girl. Swimming with daddy Rueben on a smokey day. Only pup I managed to keep from Rouge, a Wager, MH QA2 x Mila, MH QAA daughter. Rouge ruptured her spleen in June and gave us quite a scare but thankfully my vet at Hayward Animal Hospital got her into surgery quickly and she made a great recovery. We have a new kid on the block. Lazy M's Moondog at Rainmaker, "Moondog". He's been here a week now and after a few rough nights, he's made himself at home. Smart little dude. Loves to retrieve and explore. Great temperament.

Moon came courtesy of Tracy Harper , Lazy M labs and she did a wonderful job with this breeding. Beautifully raised in home and well socialized , with a lovely working pedigree. We hope to take Moon as far as he can go and he'll become a student at Dynamic Retrievers when he's old enough. Lauren Haynes Springer and Tim Springer have trained I can't even count how many dogs for me over the years, including all my boys, Wager, MH, QA2, Ransom MH, QAA and Rueben, MH. Gander is there now and just passed his first SH yesterday with Lauren handling.

Thank you for all the messages and posts about Ransom. It breaks my heart a little more every time someone tells me they lost their dog, because I know that loss, that echoing quiet their absence leaves.it does not matter if you have a houseful, each dog is so very special in their own way. Ransom was bulletproof around people, kids, dogs, he simply never knew any way to be other than a big handsome sweatheart that loved life. He gave joy to so many besides ourselves. 8 of his chubby little grandpuppies leave this weekend to start making lifetime memories with their new families. I have 2 Ransom daughters, 3 granddaughters and 1 great granddaughter. He will live on in our hearts and memories and happy wagging little butts thundering through the house.

Rainmaker's Working Class Payday, MH/QAA "Ransom". 12/30/12 - 6/17/26. We had to say good bye to our Handsome Ransom yesterday. He is buried next to his daughter Tizzy at the head of our field they loved so much. Not enough words. Or too many. You were simply fabulous my big sweet boy, inside and out.

If anyone wonders why my garden is running rampant, it's from total neglect other than watering. The flowers and veggies are growing like mad, so are the weeds! So are the puppies! Who are consuming pretty much every waking moment other than basic necessities around here. Throw in a ruptured spleen for one of my dogs, emergency surgery and big vet bill, well, yahoo! She was touch and go but doing well as of day two, thankfully.

None of this bunch are available, sorry. Next ones due in August but female deposits are full. Rueben has been busy breeding multiple females owned by others so there are possibly some reds/yellows available in those litters, all due in the next few months, I can pass along owner contact info if you're looking and want to check availability with them. All of Oakley's puppies (fox reds) are spoken for, we have 2 black males now available, going home in 5 weeks or so. I will not have any more available until later summer.
