🐾 Spay and Neuter Clinic Sign Ups Begin TODAY August 14th

Stockton Animal Services is partnering with Animal Balance and SF SPCA to offer FREE spay and neuter surgeries for qualifying dogs and cats 🐶🐱

Spaying and neutering helps pets live healthier lives, prevents unwanted litters, and plays a critical role in reducing the number of animals entering our shelter. This clinic is part of our ongoing effort to provide accessible resources that support responsible pet ownership in our community.

⚠️ By appointment only. Limited spots available and they will fill quickly.

How to sign up:

• Your name
• Phone number
• Address
• Dog or cat
• Pet’s weight
• Male or female

Emails will be responded to in the order they are received.
📍 1661 W. Fremont St
📅 August 28th, 29th and 30th

Pets will be dropped off and picked up the same day.

🏡 registration for this clinic is open to district 6 residents only and proof of residency will be required. Additional districts will be served through future clinics.

By working together we can keep pets healthy, reduce shelter overcrowding, and strengthen our community.

🚧 PARKING LOT CLOSED — BUT WE’RE STILL OPEN! 🐾

Just a reminder that Stockton Animal Services is open today starting at 12:00 PM! ❤️

Due to construction, our parking lot is temporarily closed. Please park on the street and use the main entrance to access the shelter.

We appreciate your patience and understanding while construction is underway. Thank you for supporting Stockton Animal Services and the animals in our care! 🐶🐱

📢 Temporary Closure Notice 🚧
Please note that the Stockton Animal Shelter will be closed to the public from Thursday, August 6 through Saturday, August 8, 2026 due to ongoing construction improvements.
🗓️ We will reopen for normal business hours on Sunday, August 9, 2026.
🚔 While our lobby will be closed, Animal Services Officers will continue responding to calls for service, including emergencies and other priority public safety needs. If you need to report an animal-related issue, please continue to contact dispatch through the normal reporting process.
🐾 We appreciate your patience and understanding as we complete these improvements to better serve our community and the animals in our care.

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who came out and helped make our very first National Night Out at the Pet Wellness & Adoption Center such a success! 🐾💙

We loved seeing our community come together to meet our adoptable pets, connect with local organizations, enjoy great food, and spend the afternoon with us. Your support means the world to our staff, volunteers, partners, and most importantly, the animals in our care.

Thank you to everyone who attended, volunteered, participated, and helped make today possible. We can’t wait to do it again next year!
