✨We had Chinchilals, Rabbits, Hedgehogs and Guinea Pigs for adoption!✨

🎵Also we got hear amazing music from Code Shirley! Thank you for all the shoutouts and reminding people to adopt 💜🎵

We sold out of tamales and elote quickly! 🥳 we will definitely be making these again at next fundraiser. BIG thank you to Johnny for helping with these!! They were delicious. And of course another BIG thank you to the whole team for helping set up and work in the crazy heat. They all help so much with the animals. I am so grateful to have the support of such amazing people 💗

Starting tomorrow, we will be doing pop ups at the new block34stillwater 8am-12pm. So new store hours until at least end of October for Saturdays will be 1-6pm. M-F hours are still the same 💜

Happy Adoption Day to Violet! 💜

Violet was with us for almost two years, and it’s been such a journey watching her grow. When she first arrived, she was so frightened. She would tremble in our arms and spray out of fear, both at us and any nearby animals.

Over time, she began to trust us. Slowly but surely, the spraying lessened, and she started to enjoy gentle chin rubs. Eventually, she even felt comfortable stepping onto our hands and arms.

Because of her history and the caution we gave, that she prefers solitude, may spray when stressed, and isn’t fond of being picked up, many overlooked her. But Violet made amazing progress, and though she’s still a bit more anxious than the average chinchilla, she hasn’t sprayed in months. The timid little chinchilla from two years ago is nearly unrecognizable now.

We’re so grateful to Sarah for seeing the sweet soul behind the fear and giving Violet a second chance at a forever home. 💜 Thank you for your kindness and patience.

I’m out of town until Tuesday night, so I won’t be able to respond to messages or emails until then. However, all orders are still being processed as usual.
