These two have been steady thumpin and bumpin them ugly's down in the boom boom room since Sunday night. The possible outcomes of this breeding has been running through my mind since 2010. It was then I decided to pull the trigger and purchase a boa that cost more then my first car which was my Moonglow Arabesque female. At that time of that purchase I almost purchased both female Moonglow Arabs from Jimmy at Texhiss. Jimmy had offered her to me at one hell of a discount if I chose to take the second one. At the last minute I chose to purchase another boa that I had already known exactly what male I would pair her with as well it just so happened to be one in the same. To this day I still am floored by how beautiful these two female boas are The Arabesque is snow white and with lavender saddles that look like the inside of an oyster shell in person and is hands down the best looking moonglow I have ever seen. The other female I purchased was another morph that I had been following since the early 2,000's when I was surfing the web and stumbled upon an article on peter kahl and BoaMorph when I read about Big Mama and Lil Daddy and I was floored by the one they called Groovy Girl. The moment I read that article I knew that if I ever had a opportunity to purchase a boa like that I would absolutely do everything in my power to make it happen. So when I saw an add that was just posted on king snake that said 09 Groovy Coral female for 1,500$ in Michigan I was on the phone dialing and sending an email at the same time. I probably sent this poor guy 50 emails and called him 80 times that hour, until he finally answered. I still remember talking to him asking him how he wanted payment and if he needed me to I would get in my car and I could be to his house with cash in hand by 8 Am that next morning to which he just laughed and said you are talking to fast and he couldnt understand me. A half hour later I wired him payment and he assured me that she was mine and that shipping would be a much better option then me driving 24 hours to pick her up. That was the day my obsession with groovy corals began it was also the day I knew the exact high end male that I had to have which in all honesty my reason for choosing that male was and still is what I think be the perfect genetic combination to make the best Groovy Coral ever produced. The day I read the very first article on the Azabache (Img) boa the description of its discovery read to me exactly the same as that first article I had read on the Groovy Coral boa. Both articles description described a boa that at birth looked very much like any other boa the litter, but over a period of time the animal started expressing a trait that slowly began to explode and increase in color. The Img started becoming more and more black and Groovy Coral became more and more pink. So from the moment I purchased my Moonglow Arabesque back in 2010 I had a plan to acquire an Img, but shortly after that initial purchase from Jimmy of my Moonglow Arabesque my plan quickly changed into an obsession when I was given the opportunity to purchase the one boa that still to this day everytime I see her I have to damn near pinch myself because having her was like a dream and this season I get to see both of these breeding's come to fruition. To say I am excited about this season is an understatement every purchase and every step I have taken up to this point was ultimately done to get me to this point. I don't think there will ever be another time after this season that I will feel this overwhelmed with the feeling of accomplishment and pride that I am feeling since this season began. I had set a goal over 6 yrs ago now, and after a slug out two seasons back with my Arabesque and last season my Groovy Girl didn't take, but my Img Prooved to be 100% het Kahl Snow all leading to this Season where at this point my Groovy Girl has had her POS and is due shortly after the New Yr and my Moonglow Arabesque and my Img are going at it like a couple of cats in heat this season just feels right like its just meant to be.
