Our “Slice Up Your Life” bandana which has limes slices on the opposite side for Lyme disease awareness is not only for lyme awareness month in May but also the perfect summer bandana! 🥰 It has embroidery on both sides and supports a great cause! A few facts about Lyme disease:
▪️Dogs AND humans get can Lyme disease (along with other animals)
▪️You can get Lyme from not only ticks but mosquitos, spiders and other insects as well
▪️A bullseye shaped rash is a common sign of Lyme in humans but may not always appear
▪️It’s important to get checked right away if you think you have Lyme or could have been bitten by something that could have given it to you
▪️Chronic Lyme disease is when symptoms worsen over time after being diagnosed and treated for Lyme disease
▪️Chronic Lyme disease is not currently covered by health insurance
▪️In dogs, the most common signs of Lyme include fever, loss of appetite, painful or swollen joints, lameness that comes and goes, swollen lymph nodes, and lethargy
