On October 3rd, my dog asked me what day it was...

Let's make fetch happen! As temperatures becomes cooler in the late afternoons, it makes it the perfect time to go out and play. Make sure to bring your supplies and toys for a good time!

October 3rd is World Smile Day!
Oral hygiene is incredibly important in our pets. Having good dental health means avoiding tooth pain and discomfort, infection, and chronic systemic issues.
Using dental products at home with your pet is a great first start. There is a variety of products, treats, food, and even water additives to help keep tartar and bacteria at bay. Not sure where to start? Look for the Veterinary Oral Health Council (VOHC) emblem on potential purchases. Those products are tested by vets and guaranteed to make a difference!
Routine dentals are also an amazing preventative measure for making sure your pet stays happy and healthy. If your pet has been recommended for a dental, you call anytime to schedule their procedure. We will be there through every step of their dental journey!

It's officially fall, which means we are headed into a busy holiday stretch.

Holidays can be stressful for both us and our pets. Anything from mild schedule changes to meeting new people can induce fear and anxiety in our pets.

Do you know what that looks like? Spotting signs of stress early and discussing with your vet can take an otherwise scary moment and possibly turn it into a calm and positive experience. If your dog or cat needs medical intervention, be sure to refill medications now, or call and schedule an appointment before all the change puts your pet in a panic.

One of the most popular questions a vet clinic can get is "My pet is vomiting and/or has diarrhea... what do I do?"

And the truth is, there's no right answer until we can see your pet, ask questions, and even start diagnostics. Although we have only listed 14 reasons here, there are dozens of reasons why your pet may be feeling under the weather, and it's important to be accurate in treatment.

From the receptionist to the vet- this is what can run through a vet professional's head when you mention these symptoms. There's so much ground to cover and diagnoses to rule out. So when we recommend to bring your pet in, it truly is to help them recover as fast as possible!
