Calling all Stewartville Animal Clinic clients! It's time to choose a pet of the month! You know the drill- comment a picture of your fur baby below and what you love most about them.

In one week, a winner will be selected and your pet could be the winner of a pedicure or a bag of treats! Your pet will be featured on our clinic bulletin board, and absolutely spoiled by our wonderful staff.

Veterinary Technicians work tirelessly to make controlled chaos manageable in the clinic. Our vet techs are amazing at taking on just about every role to keep pets healthy- in both a preventative and emergency setting. They can make some of the hardest days look effortless. By working together, and with their equally amazing vets, they can dance through lightning strikes all for the sake of compassionate and quality pet care.

Do you know what skills a vet tech possesses? A lot more than you'd think! These roles listed are just a fraction of the behind the scenes work a vet tech does in any given day. October 3rd is World Smile Day!
Oral hygiene is incredibly important in our pets. Having good dental health means avoiding tooth pain and discomfort, infection, and chronic systemic issues.
Using dental products at home with your pet is a great first start. There is a variety of products, treats, food, and even water additives to help keep tartar and bacteria at bay. Not sure where to start? Look for the Veterinary Oral Health Council (VOHC) emblem on potential purchases. Those products are tested by vets and guaranteed to make a difference!
Routine dentals are also an amazing preventative measure for making sure your pet stays happy and healthy. If your pet has been recommended for a dental, you call anytime to schedule their procedure. We will be there through every step of their dental journey!
