Been busy in the shop. I don’t always remember to take pictures, but here’s a photo dump of a few things. My tanner went down awhile back and put me a couple months behind, but I appreciate everyone’s patience. I’m getting through things as quickly as I can. Quality work is my priority. Been busy with shoulder mounts, mammals, and birds but got these guys done in between. There’s some real nice racks on the wall!

Had a customer want a couple different mounts done. Don't do these very often, but sure had fun putting this shoulder mount bobcat together. He's not a very big guy, but his fur is beautiful. (My wife really wanted to take this one in the house.) The euro mount is on a piece of live edge sitting on some cedar. It can sit on something or be hung. In between deer and bobcats I finished up this otter for a couple boys who've been keeping busy trapping. Had a little help one day getting his otter together, and since all good trappers need a warm hat, we fixed him up using some c***s he'd caught!

Showing a little love on the ladies in this post. You guys have brought so many awesome bucks in this year, but look at this stunner. Don't see these very often, but she's a beautiful piebald doe. Thank you to Andy Bowen for letting your boy shoot her and bringing her in. Can't wait to bring her back to life!

Good luck hunters! We're happy to bring your story to life. If you shoot something you don't plan on mounting, don't just cut the head off. Bring in your cape. We'll take $25 off a euro mount if the cape is good. We can do reproduction euros as well as standard.

Haven’t posted in awhile, but we’ve definitely been busy in the shop. Photo dump of just a few things I’ve worked on. Really enjoyed creating the pedestal deer. Still working hard to get everything from last year done. We appreciate your business!

If your thunder chicken walks by today and you want to bring your story back to life give us a call. We do lifesize, wall mounts, and tail/beard plaques. If you get one and don’t want to do anything with it I’ll gladly take the heads.

Been pretty busy in the shop lately. Had a bobcat entered in the Iowa Taxidermy Show and received 2nd place in the professional division. I received the Sculptor's award overall for my carcass casting, which is taking the carcass of the animal to create a mold and a form to mount it on. It's extremely time consuming, but I learned a lot through the process. Be sure to look for the mouse 🐭. Now it's back to deer!

Good luck to all the hunters going out tomorrow. Hopefully the wind won't be blowing quite as bad! Remember Tales & Tines if one goes down; big or small we will mount them all. If you get one that you don't want to do anything with bring it to the shop, and we’ll see if we can use it. We will take $25 off a euro mount for the cape. Shoot straight and be aware of what's on the other side of the target. Thanks!
