Our Social Media Supervisor, Butters, came to us a little concerned about our recent lack of posts 😶

In our defense… it’s been a busy week! Between unpacking and house projects, we’ve also been taking inventory, meeting with local businesses, and doing walk-throughs as we finalize the build-out for our new space. But don’t worry, we have plenty of educational and fun posts on the way!

Keep your fingers and paws crossed that we get good news from the plumber so we can keep things moving forward 🤞🐾

Couldn't leave without leaving a note 😉💜

It is the end of a chapter for Blink Dog here at The Downtown Dog, but a new beginning for them in Appleton.

We are sad to see them go but happy to know this is not the end just a new beginning to their story. We wish the best luck to Karen and Blink Dog on their next adventure and hope to see them open soon!

📍Temporarily Closed for Relocation 🚚🐾🍎

We’re packing up our shears and officially beginning our move to Appleton, so the salon is temporarily closed while everything is being moved and set up.

We’ll be sharing regular updates throughout our relocation journey ...along with the usual adorable dog photos and silly videos.

🥧 Happy Thanksgiving 🦃

Wishing everyone safe travels, way too much good food, and plenty of quality time with loved ones.

While gratitude is something we can practice year-round, Thanksgiving gives us a moment to pause and truly appreciate the good in our lives.

Over the last two months, since announcing my upcoming move to Appleton, my cup has overflowed. The outpouring of love, kind words, and well wishes has been incredible. I can’t fully express how much I’ll miss my clients, your pups, and the wonderful friends and coworkers I’ve made along the way.

I’m deeply thankful for all of you: for trusting me with your dogs, for your support, and for helping this dream grow into something real.

I can’t wait to see some of you again in Appleton when I reopen and I hope others will stop by for a visit whenever you’re in the area. ❤️

Around this time every year, Turkey gets so excited. She hears her name everywhere and is convinced the approaching holiday MUST be about her! So of course, we need to make sure she's looking her best for Turkey Day! 🦃

Senior pets need special accomodations when grooming. Sometimes that means splitting their appointment across two days, or simply letting them lie down and rest as we go. Every pet is treated as an individual and we make whatever adjustments are needed to help them have a safe, comfortable, and successful groom. 🐾
