ANNOUNCEMENT:
After a lot of hard conversations and consideration- we are sad to announce that Wheekin' Rad Rescue has come to an end. As many of you know, my husband and I had our first baby this year. Between a very hard pregnancy, recovery from a c-section, and just learning how to be the best parents we can be, it has become impossible to keep up with the public side of the rescue. While the piggies still get the same care, it has become impossible for me to effectively keep up with everything else that comes with having a rescue- responding to messages, planning and vending events, social media posts, new pictures, planning/scheduling adoptions/surrenders, and fundraising. I had to leave my job very early in pregnancy due to complications and we decided I would be a stay at home mom for our baby. Without being able to do events, it makes it much harder to pay for all the piggies things out of pocket on one income- especially when you don't know what condition they will be in when they arrive and without constant social media posts and events adoptions are hard to come by. As hard as this decision was to make, I know it is the right one for my family and myself. The remaining Wheekin' Rad piggies here at the rescue will stay here and live out the rest of their lives with us ❤️ Thank you so much to all of our followers for all of your support since the start of our rescue journey. We hate to see the end of this chapter, but we hope we made a difference while we were able ❤️
