We don't just love guinea pigs here at the rescue, we love creatures of all kind! Today we went to The Tarantula Collective open house and met Clint from Clint's Reptiles! Clint's YouTube channel was the inspiration behind the name Wheekin' Rad Rescue, so it was super cool to get to meet him in person 😁 and I, coincidentally, had on my Wheekin' Rad shirt!

Announcement!:

My husband and I have been talking and have decided to take a step back from the rescue for the rest of this year to focus on our baby. While he did fantastic at the show in Moundsville, it was a lot for him and us to vend with a baby in tow! Because of this, we have decided to opt out of vending shows for the rest of 2025. Vending shows is our primary source of fundraising for the piggies, so while we will still be taking in pigs here and there we will have to scale back on how many we are able to accept until we can get back to vending. I will do my best to keep everything updated on our page, but even that is a little hard to keep up with with raising and caring for a new baby! Thank you for your patience and we are looking forward to seeing you all at different events in 2026!

Our littlest team member wants to remind everyone that even if you aren't prepared to adopt a real guinea pig, we have plenty of plushie piggies looking for forever homes! Plushie piggie adoptions are $15 and include: a plushie piggie of your choice, a take home box, and an adoption certificate!

Today is the last day of Wonders Oddities Tri-State Exotic Animal Expo and we're here with 2 pairs of boys who are looking for forever homes! They are Bobby and Rufus (our longest residents) and Mario and Luigi (the newest piggies to the rescue!), stop out and meet them today 😁

Raya is snoozing at the Wonders Oddities Tri-State Exotic Animal Expo and dreaming of finding a forever home! We are here until 7 today and will be back from 12-5 tomorrow, stop out and see us!!
