One of the biggest bucks to ever come through the shop so far! This washington county buck was shot with a crossbow at just 12 yards. Due to its weight, approximately 165 lbs or so, we went with the full sneak pose to try to focus the look of its impressive antlers more than the size of its neck and shoulders. Being a early season buck, I was able to really show off the different details like the rolls of the back of the ears that occur when the ears are pinned back and the veins and muscle tone in the face. Congratulations James Sinclair , on your buck of a lifetime!

Hey guys! We were misled about our cabin having wifi, so it'll be touch and go for getting a hold of me. If you were to have come to me a couple years ago and said that I will be doing Blacktail deer from Alaska I would think you were quite foolish! But one thing I've learned in this job is that you never know what's going to come through that door! Here is a piece I put together for a buddy of mine who had a very successful black tail hunt on one of the outer islands in Alaska with his Hunting Party! The Alaska plaque made from Western Cedar and the plaque is your traditional walnut.

We are in full swing Whitetail season and the shop is filling up fast! I am still currently taking shoulder mounts so feel free to reach out to me with any questions! I am leaving for my annual Moosehead hunting trip this next week, so if you have an animal you would like me to do and you don't have a place to store in a freezer, I have a drop off location set up at my personal residence in milbridge. If you're looking to drop it off please send me a message on messenger or text me and I will get back to you when we return to our camp and get wi-fi! Signal will be limited so please be patient for a response!

The eve of Maine's youth day is here! Good luck to all the young hunters venturing out over the next two days! I will be accepting all mounts for Whitetail this fall including European mounts as well. It doesn't have to be a monster buck to be a trophy that will be preserved and admired for a lifetime!

Just like that, Maine's moose season is nearly here! I will be accepting all moose mounts this year, including antler, European, and shoulder mounts. I will have my walk-in freezer up and running, so reach out as soon as you have your moose down so we can schedule a drop-off, or I can run to the butcher to get it! Here is a 2024 moose mounted in a full sneak pose with a turn to fit a particular space in the hunters' trophy room. Good luck everyone!

My first pieball Whitetail! Trying to do something a little different than a traditional half or life size mount, I simply had the entire white tail hide tanned and cut a backing plate to fit nearly the entire hide. I felt this was a great way to showcase the beautiful fur and give a place for the shoulder mount to hang from!

I had the honor to do a remount of family heirloom that was mounted sometime in the early 1900s from what I was told. This buck we mounted today on a new cape taken from the orginal hunters great grandson in the same area where the old buck was shot nearly 100 years ago! Pretty wild to see how they used to do taxidermy!
