A bit of an update for you guys! Over the last couple weeks we have experienced a few family emergencies that have slowed us down quite a bit. After we had a miscarriage and the death of my grandmother I've been taking sometime for family and to consolidate some of my other responsibilities. As many of you know I'm not only a taxidermist but commercial Lobster fisherman during the summer and fall months. With the season getting closer I decided to step away from the shop for a week or two to get all my traps in order, relieving a a bit of stress. It's something I've done for nearly 25 years, so it's very therapeutic for me. As for timelines on work being completed, all of the 2025 European mounts should be wrapping up from degreasing over the next couple weeks. They will then be put through the peroxide and sealed, those will be getting out the door sometime hopefully June / July. The 2025 bear and moose will be mounted over the next couple weeks, I hope to have those dried and finished up throughout the summer. As for the Whitetail, I'm going to be roughing in as many as I can before we start setting traps, I'll be doing them in between jobs but it's all depending on what the fishery allows. I do plan on getting done lobster fishing earlier this season so I will be back in the shop earlier to start mounting things again. That still puts most of the Whitetail work completed and done hopefully late fall/winter of 2026/2027. Thank you all for the support and the understanding this spring, it's been a brutal one and I couldn't do it without you all!
