The Animals' House

The Animals' House Virginia's favorite Doggie Daycare, Boarding, Training, & In-Home Pet Care
(26)

The Animals' House provides a complete, preferred, quality, and convenient dog daycare service. Our services include dog daycare, obedience training, various dayschool options, agility classes, dog taxi service, in-home pet care, and overnight boarding. We utilize the latest techniques in animal training and daycare by employing a knowledgeable and professional staff, outstanding recreational activities in our facility, and a diverse curriculum of training and interaction instruction. We are focused on the everyday needs of caring animal owners and their companions. Unfortunately, caring animal owners often do not have the time throughout the workweek to adequately provide a healthy lifestyle for their companions. The Animals' House solves this dilemma by providing animal daycare throughout the workday, and training and educational services during the evenings. Our service is conveniently located and staffed with professionals with many years of experience.

Have you chosen to welcome a new puppy or rescue dog into your home recently? While having a lot of extra time at home to spend with your new pup is wonderful, it also poses some unique challenges for the future. Two of the biggest challenges owners of new dogs are now facing are proper socialization and preventing the potential onset of separation anxiety when we go back to work, school, and our lives. Let us help you during this challenging time!
We invite you to enroll in our new Puppy Socialization and Enrichment Package. For more information or to reserve your spot, give us a call or email us at [email protected]

Dog Taxi Service is Back!

Send your dog out for a day of socialization, exercise and fun in a safe environment.
(We have several options for no-contact pick up and drop off)

The Animals’ House is pleased to be able to offer an option for you and your dog during this difficult time. Proper exercise and socialization is important for your dog’s well-being. Long walks are great, but it doesn’t replace the need for safe, off leash play with other social dogs. Now that the dog parks are closed, and gathering in groups is not allowed, why not take advantage of our dog taxi service?
The taxi will come to your house between 10:30 am and 11:30 am to pick up your dog. Once at The Animals’ House, your dog will enjoy four hours of play time with dogs of similar size and activity level. You can also choose to sign up for a session in our indoor agility park, or get a full service bath. The taxi will bring your dog back to your house between 3:30pm and 4:30pm. All dogs will be cleaned off with waterless shampoo upon drop off.

The cost is only $35 for the day trip. Payments may be made online through our website. Service areas include: Sterling, Reston, Herndon, Great Falls, Ashburn. Space is limited, so please call or email to reserve your spot. 703-433-1300, [email protected]

Missing that social interaction? Your dog is too! The good news is .. our dog's can still get together in groups :) The Animals' House remains open for regular business hours: daycare, boarding and training! Please consider bringing your dog to daycare for socialization, change of scenery and lots of fun exercise. Your dog will have a great time and go home happy and tired!
We are now offering curbside service, so you don't need to leave your car. And don't forget that we offer half day options for daycare as well.
Hope to see you soon!

Harry Rochester & I just passed the Pet Partners team evaluation!! We are restricted to non-fragile people for now because of his young age, huge size, and high exuberance 🤪 Big thanks to The Animals’ House crew and especially Matt, Nicole, and the Day Care staff for helping us prepare for and pass this test!!
This was too cute not to share.
Harry is all tuckered out after Matt’s leash class
Harry is ready for agility class!
This moment wouldn’t have been possible without the amazing tools of boot camp for these two graduates Moochie the cattledog and Rose the rottweiler mix. Thank you!!
