Say Hello to Ash (the puppy) and Goose (the bigger puppy). Both are German Short Hair Pointers and as goofy as they are beautiful. They are not related but gravitated towards each other almost instantly. We just had to let them meet. Once Ash is a little bigger they will play all day we're sure!

Did you hear the scoop? Gelato is our newest pet of the week! 🐾
Gelato is a 7 month old English Bulldog whose sweet, wrinkly face will have you melting! This girl is so independent... She loves coming to daycare and playing with all of her friends. When she’s not busy winning a game of tug-of-war, there’s a good chance she’s chillin’ (and maybe even snoring 💤) in the corner. We are so lucky we get to hang out with this cutie while her pawrents are at work - her sweetness always brightens our day!🍦

The Animals' House is finally on Instagram and just in time because this week's Pet of the Week features double the cuteness... Meet Odin and Freya - the sweetest Aussie sibling pair we have ever seen! Odin, 11 months old, is the best big brother to little Freya, 4 months old. He has had a blast showing her the ropes of The Animals' House as they participate in one of our boot camp programs. When they aren't busy posing for the pup-arazzi, playing chase with their friends, or learning new skills with their trainer Kathy, you can find (and join!) Odin and Freya in a big cuddle puddle. We wish these lovebugs could stay and play furever but we know how much their mom is missing them... we hope they come back to visit soon! 🐾

Truffles is here for a 2 week bootcamp. He lives with small children and has a tendency to get a little amped up around them. Here he's learns some impulse control and responding to commands while one of our other trainers, Sam, simulates a crazy kid environment with her child. If you, or anyone you know, want and could benefit from our bootcamp program contact us today to set it up.
Asking our dog for a down is good, but getting them to stay down until released is the goal. Obedience is about behavior, they are not tricks. Here Pele, a bootcamp dog, shows what a down looks like around distractions. He is showing interest in what's going on, but never releases himself. Yesterday was graduation for our Tricks and Games class. We decided to teach a new game this session.. Doggie Cornhole! Here's a clip of Buttons at graduation - I know who I want on my team!!
Bootcamp dog Janelle (brown & white) shows off more of her polite behavior around other dogs- check out this clip of her politely walking alongside another dog with a loose leash! Her new buddy is Ringo, one of Janelle's trainer's dogs, who is a one year old intact male. Talk about minding her manners! So proud of this ol' gal!
