Weekends? Holidays? Days off? Not in the life of those of us caring for animals… meet our boy Wrangler… and the reason we are raising money - he was rescued from the euthanasia list down south… he was so happy to get a new leash on life he fractured a bone in his foot running around jumping around playing with the other babies! 🤦‍♀️ off to our amazing partners at Vca Abbott animal hospital and A HUGE shoutout out to their Dr Kara Fischer for coming in on her day off to care for Wrangler and splint his leg! Dr Kara is also going to be fostering our boy as he recovers…. Dr Kara your our angel 😇!!! The money we raise will go towards his vet bills and medical care. If you’d like to help us wrangle up Wrangler’s medical care pls consider donating to help him out… we have a secure online account at https://donatenow.networkforgood.org/sterlingshelter … pls send puppy prayers for a speedy recovery! Update- we want to thank everyone for their amazing food donations ❤️🐾if anyone is hoping to help we are still in much need of the other supplies listed in this post to keep them clean and healthy… all the basics from extra large trash bags to paper towels… our Amazon wish list has everything…

These babies will be coming back weekly for weigh ins and vet checks and to restock the supplies for the foster families… we believe rhey maybe rotti mixes but hard to tell at only 2-3 weeks old. They won’t be available for adoption for at least 6 weeks after our vet team clears them… we’ve also attached a couple pics of Wrangler one of our southern rescues pulled from the euthanasia list…. This boy somehow fractured his foot and will now require a splint and foster and recheck / recast every couple weeks until healed…. Poor boy

These beautiful babies were abandoned this week at our shelter … six very young puppies abandoned in a hot cardboard box wrapped in a comforter without air holes… thankfully our amazing vet team was here to care for them as they were suffering from mild heat stroke. Now we have safely placed them into two foster homes to be loved and cared for but we are in great need of supplies to help care for them… if you’d like to help we are in need of the following items - we are in need of several things to care for these incredibly adorable BUT SUPER MESSY little angels… these babies need high quality pate puppy canned food (it’s basically a pate without chunks in it just ground up canned food) -paper towels- liquid laundry detergent HE (high energy) - paper plates and plastic silverware (forks spoons and knives)

We are also fostering out SEVERAL litters of kittens… some of which are bottle babies and all ages which are always in need of - canned kitten food - Milk replacement formula for kittens and puppies dry or wet- cat litter (we have many litters of kittens in foster that we send these supplies home with so our fosters can take care of them it’s hard work and messy work but incredibly rewarding 🐾❤️) these babies will start being available for adoption soon! Please watch our website for pix and info!

pls also check our Amazon wishlist to easily order. In addition we are raising money to care for and treat one of our dogs Wrangler who has a broken foot just confirmed by X-rays. We are currently waiting for his medical splint and will be going to foster and posted when we get a chance…It’s been a rough couple days for our furry friends.. thank you to all our amazing supporters ❤️

Hello! My name is Storm, and I'm a little over one year old. My family brought me to the shelter, and since then, I've been patiently waiting to embark on my next exciting adventure. As a friendly girl, I get along wonderfully with both dogs and cats. I'm also fully potty-trained and no longer need pull-ups. If you have the time and are searching for a loving, forever companion, know that I'm also on the lookout for my own special someone!
