I FINALLY went on vacation, for two weeks. I hadnt written in a vacation in my business, for close to three years! No dogs... No even my own 😩. The crazy part is that, in spite of substantial jet lag ftom a 20 hour flight to SE Asia (and back).... I woke up at 7am every morning, thinking I need to feed and walk my pups! While walking the streets of Vietnam, Thailand, and Singapore, my eye automatically focused on the stray animals. I couldn't even take pics of all the street strays. I even aggressively chewed out an old man for throwing a water bottle at a stray cat that I was feeding. I thought I needed a vacation from my fur babies, but I missed them soooo much!!

Ever had moments where it's unsettling to see teeth when your pup is playing? My pup doesn't play with all dogs like this. But when he gets a "wrestler" that invites this kind of play, it's tails waggin and mouths going. On occasion, I've had to explain to clients that because the dogs don't have hands, they use their mouth's for play. Even though you see the teeth, they are gentle enough to put your hands in their mouth's. My dog is almost 7 years old, so he's pretty chilled. But he is elated when he gets a dog that is comfortable cuddling, sleeping together, rough playing, and wrestling. They are both totally comfortable with bearing their necks with each other, which is a sign of feeling safe with each other. They take turns submitting. The two of them are inseparable! There is nothing like dog play! Dog language is very unique and special. Side note: that's MY dog's neck in the guest pup's mouth.... and I don't feel the least inclined to be concerned. These two get each other!
