If you haven’t visited Color Me Happy LLC yet, be sure you do! We were ecstatic when we contacted them to take on the Build-A-Pet and they agreed. With their exciting party space we knew they were the only location that would continue on with the same commitment to the kids as we prided ourselves for. We knew that every child would be given unlimited freedom to explore, patience with each step of the building process and allowed for their creative “juices” to flow when dressing and naming each pet. We were very particular when we chose who to contact because we wanted the same environment we offered each child. Watching as Color Me Happy has grown their own Build-A-Pet business has warmed our hearts, especially when they continued on with the Rudolph’s Pajama Party at Christmas. Here they are providing another affordable event for the local children to carry on our mission. We know we chose well and are happy to see how quickly our community has embraced them as the new local Build-A-Pet location. We wish you all so much success and hope each experience brings you as much joy as it did us. Thank you for taking up the torch for us and honoring the experiences we created.

Doors open at 10AM for sales.
The playland is looking empty but there are still deals left! Plus almost everything thing else is 50% Off. Build-A-Pets and Build-A-Squishies are all $10 unstuffed. They are so easy to make at home and we will show uou how before you leave. Tomorrow we will have a big announcement for the new home of the Build-A-Pets right here in Sterling!

Sterling’s Halloween Town has come to an end. We have a pile of corn stalks available in the back of our building where our parking is for free to any of you fall decoraters. Stop by any time to grab as many as you would like!

We want to express our sincere gratitude to everyone who supported us through the years. We never imagined that when we started in 2019, we would make such strong connections in our community. Making memories with you and your families has been one of our greatest joys, and we will cherish all of those memories ourselves. We made it through COVID and through insane inflation, but the current economy is against us and does not seem to have any end in sight. We had many more plans and wanted so badly to bring even more fun to the kids in the area, but we need to think of what is best for our family. Unfortunately, continuing the business is not in our best interest, and we have made the heartbreaking decision to close our dream. Please take the time to use any gift cards you may still have before we close the doors for the last time at 2 p.m. on Sunday, October 26th. Before I end this, I would like to send a huge shout-out to Marissa Razo and Sam Smith at Rock Falls Chamber. These two ladies went above and beyond to support Build-A-Pet Clubhouse, and I can’t thank them enough for being our biggest cheerleaders. If you have a business, I highly recommend becoming a Rock Falls Chamber member. You won’t find a more dedicated staff anywhere. Thank you again for everyone’s support. Please stop in to say goodbye and share any memories you made with us before we close. We will have sales starting this Saturday during Halloween Town.
