As we approach the holiday season, we'd like to share a heartwarming tribute to an unforgettable friend. Behold, Big Sam's last holiday pictures.

For those who didn't have the pleasure of meeting him, let us introduce you to Big Sam, the embodiment of Glorious Way Ranch's spirit. Big Sam belonged to the Gray family, who owns GWR, and he called the ranch his home for the last 8 years.

Big Sam had an extraordinary aura that radiated joy, making everyone smile. He would warmly greet everyone who visited the ranch, whether it was their first or fifth time, and he was always thrilled to make new friends. This gentle giant was renowned for being 'that big black horse out front!' as well as for his exceptionally kind and gentle nature. Sam would roam the ranch, interacting with the other horses and barn dogs, spreading love and warmth wherever he went. Sam witnessed the ranch's growth, felt the love and dedication that went into it over the last 8 years, and was always there for everyone.

Sadly, Sam's time on this earth came to an end on November 25, 2025. He was 22 years old.

Although his physical presence is no longer with us, his spirit lives on, and his legacy continues to inspire us. As we navigate the holiday season without him, we ask that you shower your horses with extra love and affection. Happy holidays, everyone!

🚨EFFECTIVE 11/19/25🚨

As of Wednesday, November 19th 2025 we will not be allowing any new horses on the property! (If you have already arranged to bring a horse here in the coming weeks please contact Mykal). This is due to the spread of EVH-1 (Equine Herpesvirus) within the state.

We ask that if you have plans to rodeo/horse show to PLEASE obtain from those activities, otherwise we will need a fresh health certificate from the vet to allow your horse back on the property.

Thank you everyone for understanding! The safety of all of the horses in our care is our biggest priority.

POSITION HAS BEEN FILLED

Morning everyone, we are hiring!

We are looking for someone who is a hard worker, is detail oriented, organized, and focuse. This person must also be able to work well alone and with others.

This can be a full or part time position.

Duties include, but are not limited to:
-Feeding/watering horses
-Cleaning stalls
-Fixing/building fence
-Hauling horses
-Doctoring
-Keeping barns clean
-Shredding/mowing pastures

Requirements:
-Must have valid drivers license and reliable transportation
-MUST HAVE HORSE EXPERIENCE
-Must be confident hauling a trailer
-Must have some knowledge of running a tractor and fixing fence.

Starting pay is $14/hr.

Hello everyone, I just wanted to take a second and make a very important announcement regarding our boarding options.

Starting July, 1st 2025 we will no longer be offering Self-Care board. Partial Care Pasture, Full Care, and regular Partial care will remain the same.

This is a decision that has not been easy to make, however, those of us here feel that this change is needed.

We are so sorry for any inconveniences.
