Today’s the day!

Our members are participating in the Rolla Christmas Parade AND the Steelville Trail of Tears Remembrance Committee’s Second Annual Remember the Removal Walk, Ride, and Bike along the original Trail of Tears Northern Route.

From social membership for new members or non-riders to full riding and hunting memberships, we offer a unique experience following hounds on horseback as they chase coyote, fox and bobcat through our region.

We are grateful to our members, landowners and community who make this sport possible!

Ozark Highland Hounds aims to provide participants with unique opportunity to enhance the human connection to the natural world through education and experiences in conservation endeavors, rural communities, agriculture, animal husbandry, and working animals. Through hunting with hounds, we hope to preserve the countryside and rural way of life for the future enjoyment of future engagements.

We welcome English and Western riders alike and will work with you to make sure you have a safe and fun experience. When not hunting, our club goes on trail rides, practices our skills in jump schools and enjoys various other social events!

Join us at the Rolla Christmas Parade on Saturday December 7, 2024 for a public debut of our hunt club! Started in 2020, Ozark Highland Hounds blends a celebration of tradition and passion for mounted foxhunting with a passion for our community and broad enthusiast engagement. Our pack of Goodman and American crossbred hounds leads the way, chasing fox, coyote and bobcat across expansive countryside and forest.

With hunt meets on Wednesdays and Sundays from September through March, it's an experience unlike any other, where traditional attire featuring our green coats blend with a taste of the Ozarks, as we have western riders too!
