Wanted....... Unicorn Pony 🦄 who will have won the jackpot if we buy him/her!
Please read the below discription carefully and please feel free to share this post. PLEASE PM ME DIRECTLY if you have anything that may be a match! Please do not post on this post as it will be in several groups.
ISO : Medium or Large Pony (does not need to be over fences larger than 2') to join our wonderful lesson program and family at Flowers Power Academy. This pony will be used lightly and will receive all that it would ever need, including lots of love and hugs from little ones. Budget is under 8.
We will start by looking within 2 hours of Statesville, NC. You can also call me at 704.296.1173.
We are looking for a gelding or non-fire breathing dragon mare as well as the following credentials ....
🦄 8 to 12 YO ( remember.... Vets can tell if you have no papers and skim a few years off.... as us ladies sometimes do.......)
🦄 Extreamly safe on the ground. (non-negotiable. It shouldn't practice it's tap routine for America's Got Talent in the cross ties, or size up a little one as to how hard it has to kick to make the next NFL draft, as a Field Goal Kicker)
🦄 Great brain and trainable mind if somewhat green (just in case an older student is on and we forgot something in the barn.... Or an instructor needs a quick coffee refill, just kidding.... Not really. 🤷♀️)
🦄 No connection issues if a little one gets scared and shortens their reins (this means it can not thrash its head around like it's Stevie Wonder or in a Nirvana mash pit when you close your fingers or ask the little one to interpret the mysterious phrase of "Half-Halt")
🦄 Trailers off property well (doesn't make us rethink our profession as instructors, as fluffy loads on the trailer and Damien steps off)
🦄 Steady and comfortable to teach students to canter (SERIOUSLY. It can not take off like it missed its calling for the Kentucky Derby, or as if a slingshot fired na**lm and connected on its hindquarters when the child gets the courage to finally ask for the canter......finally)
🦄 Goes for Hacks alone or in a small group ( it doesn't need to be the Horse From Snowy River, but does need to walk nicely on the buckle as a little one stares off into space or admires the pretty butterflies)
🦄 No heavy maintenence ( a little supplement, but please nothing that's held together with creative Farrier poxy, duct tape, injections of every joint and then some good ol NC chewing tabacco)
But in all seriousness, I've talked to A LOT of people and I know the right one for us is out there. We are open to a long term lease for a reasonable amount but would prefer to buy outright. The new member must be able to start in our program without serious education from us to do it's job. He /she will not have a hard life with hours and hours in the program, but must be dependable to use in lessons 3 to 5 days a week.
