Our hearts are broken 💔We just learned our hero dog Floyd has passed over the rainbow bridge 🌈 Floyd’s story is our featured post. We also learned we only knew a small part of Floyd’s rough life. We hope you are running around, pain free playing with your family and other dogs………

9/8/12-6/16/26. 🐾🌈💔
We can only imagine the rough life our boy had before we adopted him through Louie's Legacy (where he was known as Sammie)...... a bullet lodged in his lung.... BBs lodged in his shoulder..... rescued from Hurricane Harvey in Texas September 2017, and that's just what we know! But we are certain he entered heaven knowing how loved and adored he was by us. 💙 After just a week of fostering him, we knew we couldn't give him up! We gratefully became "foster fails" and he brought joy into our home when we were hurting so very badly. We imagine Floyd's arrival in heaven finding Mike since they never got to meet here on earth 🙏, and seeing my mom who he knew would gladly pet him for hours on the couch. 🥰 Mike was a huge Pink Floyd fan which was the inspiration for Floyd's name so hopefully they're now rocking out together. 😍🎶 🐕 And the inspiration behind Floyd's middle name and "made up" birthday/gotcha day is Matty, our forever hero 🙏🚒 😇. Floyd, a/k/a Floydie, Floydson, Floydie Boy, was a hero as well, as told to us by Mindy's Dog Sitting. His heroics are highlighted front and center on Mindy's Dog Sitting page. We were so very proud of him 😊. We know our boy had many fans and we appreciate everyone who showed him love and affection. 🤗 If we do say so ourselves, Floyd was just about perfect and it was our privilege to be his family.
