We are so excited to host Black Sheep Brew Coffee☕️for their soft opening; they will be stationed right outside The Dawg House! Treat yourself to their specialty coffees and energy refreshers…and treat your pup to a special day with us!!🐾

✨Welcome back to one of our favorite kinds of posts… our Employee Spotlights!!✨

Today, we’re shining the light on Audrey McReynolds! Audrey has been part of The Dawg House crew for about 8 months now, but her compassion for your pets makes it feel like she’s been here forever. She loves these dawgs like she’s known them their whole lives. Naturally, we had to ask…who are her favorites? And it was a tricky question. Especially when it came down to Memphis vs. Birdie — she says it’s a tie, and honestly, she’d take them both home if she could. Some of her other favorites include Birdie’s derpy brother Winston, Axle, Gwen, Suki, Silo, and Boomerang — but Audrey made it very clear this list is always growing, because every dawg is her favorite.

Now, let’s talk Doodles. If you ever need a personal chauffeur for your Doodle, Audrey is your girl. Need them held like a baby? Get in line (Suki is already first). Need them to star in next year’s magazine? Audrey probably already has a full camera roll ready. Give it time — we’re convinced a Doodle is in her future.

Her favorite part about working at The Dawg House is meeting new dawgs and building lasting relationships with them. She also loves her coworkers and is incredibly grateful for the friendships she’s made since starting here — and it shows in the way she brings such a positive, genuine energy to the team every day.

📸Audrey has a natural talent for taking photos of (and with) your dawgs — and with a background in cosmetology from EMCC, she knows how to bring out the best in your pup, whether that’s the perfect brush-out or the perfect photo.

Outside of work, Audrey enjoys spending time with her friends, traveling with her family, and spoiling her Maltese mix, Milo.

Audrey has truly found her place here at The Dawg House, and we’re so grateful for her hard work, her compassion for the pack, and her willingness to teach Trey how to properly fold towels🫶.

We’re lucky to have you, Audrey — The Dawg House just wouldn’t be the same without you!

We’re so happy to care for shelter pets!! Like Mary, we take every opportunity to socialize our foster dawgs, and this past weekend was the perfect opportunity to give Mary exposure to large crowds and new friends at the 🐎

The Starkville Dachshund Derby is just around the corner on Saturday, and this year we’re going full Western! We’ll be closed for daycare so our team can head to the races, but we have our boarding windows set for the day:

🐾Boarding Drop-off: 7 AM – 10 AM

🐾Boarding Pick-up: 3 PM – 6 PM
