This beauty is a Clydesdale. He used to be an Amish horse back in the day! He is getting weekly body work to help his body to improve his performance. Just two sessions of body work have made a noticeable difference in his movement and his tissue is feeling better.

First massage for this handsome boy today. Clyde had a past of trauma and abuse. He was saved in March and is now living with a caring family that wants to give him all the attention he needs 💫🦄 In our massage session today, he was at first skeptical and unsure but later on he was able to relax and find release. There was lots of chewing, licking and yawning plus some big bonus stretches! Happy horse, happy life 🦄💫♥️

One of my favorite massage clients came out to stay with me on the farm for a little while. We’ll be working on building top line, mobility, muscle tone, and deep muscular relaxation.
This handsome boy is being spoiled after a good work session. We are at it early in the morning to avoid the day time heat. In the evening he gets a cooling rinse with his dinner. He also made friends with my yearling Hazel!

During equine bodywork it is important to always keep an eye on the horse! How is it reacting? What are the ears and eyes doing? What are lips and nostrils doing?
Horses are very good in expressing themselves and all we have to do is read their body language.
