This beautiful guy is looking for his forever home!
He’s almost 2 years old. I know his breeder and decided to host him temporarily while looking for a fit. He’s a super sweet boy!! the hard work is done!! Hes calm and docile and will just follow you around. He does love other dogs but took a bit to play with them. He does have separation anxiety so needs someone patient the first few weeks in a new home. He needs someone who will be home longer than away. A work from home or stay at home mom would be his dream!!

Free training classes included in his adoption.

Wally learning to relax around children.

Children make him nervous and he’s quick to run away from them. Behind barriers (fence and kennel) he does bark at them so we’ve been conditioning a new behavior there. But out in the open he’s less confident in approaching or yelling at the kids. He usually will avoid them.

Since his family just had a new baby it’s important that he learns he has a safe space and they will leave him alone. Noone needs to panic or nip, No forcing interaction just being neutral around them. If I ask him to lay down and stay I also need to be responsible for keeping the kids out of his designated space. He’s become much more relaxed around them with this rule 🐾

We have THREE openings for board and train for the rest of the year!!

Pictured is my personal dogs. All three livestock guardian dogs. Great Pyrenees mixes. All three are stubborn but recall, sit when asked, and walk beautifully on a leash!

Sandy and Cooper really nailing their walk!!
Cooper has a very hard time focusing, won’t take treats, and the first moment out of the car was dragging sandy around! 👏

Wally practicing his heel and sits! Wally thinks a treat means we’re done with the command but his release word means he’s done with the command. So with correcting him for getting up and rewarding his stays he’s learning what I expect of him. When I asked for a sit and he laid down we just asked again because he was trying to figure out how to get a treat from me quickest lol

DoubleT K9 Training is looking for kennel help in August! This is a 4 week temporary position which could increase if it works out well. Dogs are kenneled in the home. We’re not a typical kennel.

Must be reliable
Must have a set schedule so I can book out the month with shifts
Must have good customer service or be able to be taught you will be doing pickup/drop off services.
Have good time management and be honest.
MUST LOVE DOGS!

Tasks:
Letting dogs out to potty
Supervising/engaging with play groups
💩 cleanup
Leash walks with some dogs
Filling waters
Feeding dogs
Vacuuming and cleaning kennel rooms.
Potentially bathing if dogs are dirty.

ALL of our boarded dogs have done training with us.

We are switching programs so at this time while we put together the new system we ask you reach out to schedule your private training sessions!

I haven’t introduce Wally yet!

Wally is a beautiful herding dog mixed with border collie, Catahoula, and Australian shepherd. He is an anxious and reactive boy who is here because his family just had a new baby! ❤️

They’d love to help him through his insecurities and anxiety so he lives his life happy with this new change to it!

His first few days his ears were pinned to the back of his head poor guy!

We are excited to be helping him navigate the world with confidence ❤️🐾
