We spent the past week and a half with Rocky and he was amazing! He played great with all the dogs, remembered all his commands and is such a love!
He did puppy training with us and his parents have done a great job of up keeping it!

Teaching Felon that we don’t need to chase and bite at the vacuum.
It may seem like a fun silly game for some but given that Felons game of chase has cause her to get lost we really need to work on that drive with her.

We are using treats to give her a different thing to focus on. ❤️

Some tips for the heat wave!

Limit time outside. Early morning walks are best!
Don’t over exert your dog, no playing ball unless you just throw it up and let them catch it but they should not be running full speed.
Sniff games inside.
Frozen toppls or bowls are best right!
Watch your dogs water intake. Don’t let them chug water to fast.
Play inside games! We have an open basement I can set up jumps, a treadmill, or even ball if my dogs are to wired.

Felon is a 6 ish month old Belgian Malinois who we are fostering through Pineapple’s Paradise Rescue.

She was found running around Detroit and never had her owner show up. It’s assumed based on her high chase drive that she chased a car and got lost and maybe the family decided not to look for her but we’ll never know!

She’s a really sweet dog and I’m excited to work with her and help her learn the world around us! So far she loves to chase chickens, cars and eat the evil vacuum. She’s really nosey and if it’s not for her then why is it even there?

She’s currently not available for adoption

We’re having a fun weekend of dogs!
Most of our regular boarding dogs and some new faces came to hangout!
We got alot of nails trimmeded yesterday

Today we were able to play till they all just laid down and got some farm chores done ✔️
