This is a very informative article. If you feed a grain free diet, read up. Grain in dog food is not evil, just make sure the ingredients are quality and the amount of grain (a filler) is low. We feed Redpaw exclusively, but there are many other good brands on the market.

FDA is alerting pet owners and veterinary professionals about reports of canine dilated cardiomyopathy (DCM) in dogs eating certain pet foods containing peas, lentils, other legume seeds, or potatoes as main ingredients.

Important update

Due to health issues and other obligations, Harvest Kennels will no longer be raising litters. Our male, Silas (AG Sulphur Slide) will still be siring occasional litters. I will update here whenever his pups are available from other kennels.

Rest in Peace, Harvest's Little Big Bug. Your little sister Boo, as well as "your" kitty, BobbleHead, will miss you. We miss you. We miss you doing whirlies when your food bowl is presented. We'll miss you bouncing through the fields. We'll miss you carrying dog bowls around the house, just like your mother and your grandmother before you. We'll miss your grin -- omg i miss your grin! You left us too early at 12. Now you're free to play with your mother, Little Sis, and your grandmother Bumper. You old uncle Tae will be happy to see you.
