It's sad seeing all the big bucks at the processor with sliced throats!
I believe the Minnesota regime has no clue what they are doing as usual ! For example how are deer gonna gather at some hunters boot to catch CWD off sent! It's ridiculous!
Don't allow the regime to ruin your trophys!

Seems I've ran into some trouble with this
SLIPPING as its called when the hide looses its hair.. when this happens its ruined. It was taken care of as far as caping was done . But even being careful they need to be frozen....immediately is preferred!!! Its not fun calling to say your capes bad.. I know on my end they get processed as soon as they are thawed . And kept in a ice cold fridge between the turning and fleshing beam process then under a coat of fresh salt all within a couple hours or so. So if you get a good one handle it with care and get it to a taxidermist. We will buy the cape or a discount a mount. Thanks
Ps don't cut the neck ! That was only needed before refrigerator machines lol ;-)

Salt process, and shaving a tanned hide, before and after , shaving is dangerous I barely nipped my thumb.
