It's MAYFLY bite SEASON

Mayfly bites on dogs are actually caused by gnats, not mayflies, and often appear as red, circular lesions, especially on the belly. This happens when the dogs are lying in the grass for long periods of time. These bites are usually harmless and resolve on their own within a few days. While not typically painful, some dogs may show minor irritation or itching. If they are not going away or look to be getting worse always seek out your veterinary for care.
