Feline Friday calls for some kitten cuteness! Mira, her siblings, and many other kitties (adults and youngsters), as well as canine companions, are waiting for their forever homes! Stop by the shelter tomorrow between 9:30 and 3:30 (adoptions stop half an hour before closing) to find your new family member!

The second annual Corgi Clay Art event was both fun and a huge success! Each year, Corgi Clay brings the community together through a shared love of art and shelter animals. All proceeds were generously donated to the shelter, and any bowls not purchased at the event are now available at the shelter. Stop by to visit the animals and pick out a beautiful piece of handmade pottery. A big thank you to Corgi Clay for hosting us again—we can’t wait for next year!

Mistelle & Callie are two of our many cats available for adoption. Mistelle arrived into our care as a stray in late May, pregnant and delivered five kittens on the 19th of June, one of whom was Callie.

Mistelle is an absolute sweetheart, quiet and gentle, yet very self-sufficient as well. She gets along with her feline roommates here at the shelter, and would make a great addition to just about any family. Her foster family raved about her and now that she is spayed, there will be no more kiddos in her future AND there are no restrictions on adoption.

Callie is now 9-weeks old and her foster family described her as the sassiest and the boss of her litter. She is your typical playful, happy-go-lucky kitten and would love to join another young cat or one of her fellow little cats to go through life with. As she is not spayed yet, adopters must live in Stafford County or one of the bordering jurisdictions. Adoption fees for cats are $35 and adoptions are conducted a first-come, first-served policy.

With green eyes that sparkle like diamonds, and a playful, energetic personality that goes with her beauty, we cannot understand why Tobi hasn’t found her forever home yet. She is spayed so there are no restrictions on adoption. Tobi would like to be the only animal in her forever home, as she does not like other felines or dogs. But we know there are plenty of people looking for a one-and-only and think Tobi would like to have a go at convincing them she’s their gal.

Are You Missing Me⁉️

This handsome, sweet boy (estimated around 6-8 months old) arrived just a few moments ago. He was found in the area of Big Spring Lane, Stafford, VA 22554.

He is a tremendously well-behaved dog and we know someone has to be missing him!

• Proof of ownership is required at time of redemption (this post does not count as such).
• Hours: M-F: 11-5:30, Saturday: 9:30-4PM
