With Finals coming up let’s have a heart to heart on fake tails. As a hunter braider, there is one tail and one tail only that is suitable for your horses under a braided tail. NATURAL TOP WITH TAPERED END. I am not exactly sure why, but we are seeing k**b tops more and more with blunt cut ends. And if you want me to be honest, these are the bane of every braider’s existence. We cringe at the sight of them and generally want to run in the other direction. These are frustrating for us to put in and if you think about it, the poor horse has to sit with that k**b top braided tightly around the tail, against it’s tailbone. And they are HEAVY.

🌟🌟The biggest thing I can recommend is discuss your tail shopping with your braider. We generally know who has them for sale, and what you want for your horse as far as size and color wise. 🌟🌟
