Today the zoo was at Officer’s Elementary School in East St. Louis and the kids got a kick out of playing with our ducks, Johnny and Ernest. I named them after my brothers. Lol.

Our polish chicken named Phyllis Diller was a favorite of our zoo critters on Monday at Glascow Elementary School. This little spent most of his time in the chicken with Phyllis and it made his day. We rotate the children in the various pens to give them all a chance to hold the chickens. I allowed this fella to stay longer to make his day.
