One of our officers has been recently diagnosed with a bone cancer called Pseudo myogenic Hemangioendothelioma Epithelioid Sarcoma (PHE for short.) This cancer is so rare that there have only been 10 cases in the United States since the early 1990’s. Medical professionals are telling the officer there is no exact life expectancy for this type of cancer because it will depend on future scans to collect more data.

The officer has already had surgery to remove cancer from his knee on 3/17. He is driving to Houston, TX for an appointment with a cancer specialist with his wife and 3 year old. The facility he is going to is rated #1 in the country for cancer research. He doesn’t know how long he will be in Houston because if the specialist can treat his cancer, he will try to stay there for the treatment. He would eventually like to come back to St. Louis with a treatment plan; however the effect of travel is unknown due to Covid-19.

This total will cover the cost of the shirt and the profit amount will go directly to the officer and his family from each shirt purchased.
