Ginger reports: Today at the TAC Rally trial Flurry, a border collie owned by David Frasca, and I earned a Rally Championship title. Flurry is such a delightful dog, and I thank David for giving me the opportunity to show her. Thanks to all the friends on hand to help us celebrate today.

Tim reports: Pretty good weekend at the TAC trial in Wentzville. Gala finished her UDX2 title, Twix finished a Rally Excellent title, and Phoenix finished a Novice Obedience title. Really spread the ribbons around this weekend.

CHRISTINE CARTER'S TRUE MAKES A SPLASH (SECOND IN TERRIER GROUP) AT THE NATIONAL OBEDIENCE CHAMPIONSHIP!!

Proud of my girl True today! We competed at our first National Obedience Champrionship! We had a great time and we even had a fan club of friends to cheer us on since it was local.

We woke up at 4am and it ended up becoming a 16 hour day for the show! We are exhausted!!

We ended up placing second in the Terrier Group! 6 Times in the ring and 19 exercises. She only flunked 1 exercise, an article. Articles are her least favorite and most anxiety inducing exercise. We were very first in the ring this morning and started our day with articles. True was less than thrilled. She froze for the first article, but recovered well doing the second one correctly. She definitely made some mistakes costing us points, but she tried, and finished the competitiontion strong. I think she was really thrown off with the format. Lol.

Looking forward to hopefully getting to compete at another NOC with her.

NANCY MOSS'S JAMIE PLACES IN TOP TEN IN RALLY ADVANCED AT THE RNC!!

Nancy reports: What a day! Jamie did great at the Rally National Championship today. He placed 8th out of 118 dogs in the Advanced class. What a thrill to be in the top 10 and watch Jamie put in some awesome performances. Quick photo I snapped waiting for the photographer. Better picture later.

ENROLLMENT IS NOW OPENED FOR NCOTC'S SUMMER 2025 SESSION THAT BEGINS THE WEEK OF July 28, 2025...
If you are looking to enroll your dog with no or little training, we offer Puppy Class (from 8-19 weeks) and Beginning Obedience Training (20 weeks to no maximum age).
For the performance dog, sharpen your skills for Intermediate or Advanced Obedience classes with the renowned retired AKC Judge Ginger Kinion. Intermediate/Advanced Obedience classes are also taught by Terry Sullivan.
Puppy class (8-19 weeks) is taught by seasoned veteran instructor Donna Clifford.
The Beginning Obedience classes are taught by the popular experienced instructor Karen Rosso on Tuesday evenings along with Tony Matteoni. Terry Sullivan instructs on Tuesday afternoon. NCOTC offers Rally that is instructed by experienced BJ Arnold.

DONNA CLIFFORD’S FELON GATHERS WINS TOWARD THE RAE TITLE!!

Donna reports: Felon showed at the North County Obedience Trial in Rally Excellent and Advanced this weekend. This was her first time running multiple courses in one day. I wasn’t sure how she would handle it, but she did awesome. She continued to gain more confidence each time we ran. She now has 4 legs towards her REA title.
