Congrats to Skipps and Scrimmage for their BPUP Herding Group WIN yesterday! And being the second puppy of the litter to earn their ⭐️STAR⭐️ puppy achievement!

There was some tough breed competition with four Mudi puppies competing and Scrimmage came out on top! 🥇 Then he went on to win the whole dang group! We are so proud of Skipps and Scrimmy 🖤

Between Worthy and Scrimmage we are officially 2/2 on Herding Group Wins for the puppies in our Kansas City Chiefs Litter! Being in peak puppy uglies awarded this way has all of us at Mythic Mudi and Flying Dog Ranch Mudi excited for the future of these puppies!

Versatility knows no bounds in Rocket x Lily babies! Multiple AKC/UKC Champions, high level agility dogs, high level disc dogs, dock diving, rally, and flyball! Here is an awesome video of Bones (second dog) the height dog for the Ruff Position Flyball Team at CanAm!

Our Kansas City Chiefs puppies have had quite the week!

This weekend is the debut weekend for Scrimmage (fka Pacheco) and Worthy in Conformation! Freshly turning 4 months old these two showed up and strutted their stuff in AKC BPUP. Plus, Artemis (fka Rice) is starting her titling career off!

Mythic’s This is a Contact Sport was 2/2 on BOB yesterday and today in New Mexico. He also earned himself a Group 3 and Group 2 placements over some stiff competition! Scrimmage also earned himself some fabulous compliments from the judges on what a promising little puppy he is. We are so proud of Scrimmy and his owner Skipps! 😍

Mythic’s I’m Worthy earned herself a BOB today and then went on to win the BPUP herding group! This is made extra sweet because Worthy’s co-owner and handler is the owner of Worthy’s sire, Shiner at Flying Dog Ranch Mudi! She got so many compliments on what a pretty little puppy she is too ❤️

Mythic’s Arrowhead in Action has been working hard and earned herself a STAR Puppy Title! Her and her mom Hannah have been having a blast in FL and have their sights set on earning Artemis’ CGC soon!

Shiner and Gaia did so well making these babies; we are so proud of this litter and everything they are shaping up to be!

Last week we attended the Skyhoundz World Championships in Chattanooga, TN. We had so much fun with so many friends, old and new, and achieved some personal goals. A highlight of our trip was young, up and coming Khaos being crowned the Vice World Champion in MicroDog Time Trial!

Having freshly turned 2 years old, this is just the beginning for Khaos!

We also strive to perform OFA Spine Testing on all of our breeding dogs. With increasing numbers of dogs popping up with LTVs and even missing vertebrae it is important to us to have all the information available to make the best breeding decisions for not only our program but for the entire Mudi breed. The sire of our most recent litter, Shiner, was awarded Fastest Mudi at the MCA’s 2nd Annual Specialty. Despite being a very successful conformation dog, Shiner just participated in sports at the MCA Specialty so his owners could focus their confo energy on their gorgeous up and coming dog, Brew. 🥰

So happy for Cloey and Hunter at Flying Dog Ranch Mudi! They had a great showing and earned some prestigious awards!

Now that the Shiner x Gaia puppies are all in their new homes and doing great we have switched our focus back to sports!...

Now that the Shiner x Gaia puppies are all in their new homes and doing great we have switched our focus back to sports!

Today Khaos was crowned the Overall Micro Dog Runner Up of the weekend at our Skyhoundz Disc Dog a Thon and Classic Qualifier! In the process Khaos snagged a few Q’s to the World Championships in Chattanooga, TN this September too! Just shy of his second birthday this boy really brings together structure, speed, drive, and intensity. We just adore how he is maturing!

We are so proud of his cousin Slider for snagging a few Q’s to worlds too! So far the Qualifying Mudis for the Skyhoundz Disc Dog World Championship are, Icarus (Q’d for MicroDog everything DDaT and Classic), Rocket, Khaos, and Slider! All related in one way or another. We are so proud of all these guys!
