Today is a sad day. Our busy life has had one of our best Cavies coat care neglected. :( Finally a nice cavy that doesn't chew their coat and it got a matted bum 😭

After working tirelessly for an hour there was signs of new coat growth. Uneven lengths in a long haired cavy isn't a good thing. That shows hair loss or damage and is major points off.

We cut our losses, literally. Now he's sporting a new hairdo and will get a girlfriend in hopes we can do better with the next generation. 🥲

Long haired Cavies need a ton of attention and coat care. They're definitely not for everyone.

A sad day for BEW Lionheads but an understandable one. BEW are a MASSIVE undertaking. There are many Vienna Marked animals that take up space as breeders.

As of December 30, the Certificate of Development for the Blue-Eyed White Lionhead has been dropped.

This variety is no longer under a working standard, however they may continue to be shown as exhibition entries in accordance with Section 28 of the ARBA Show Rules.

Good help is often hard to find... but it is NOT hard to find around here!! 😍🥰

Today we made a new running table. I wanted it to be narrow enough that the rabbits get used to the small space between the judging coops and the edge of the table. It is typically not a whole lot of room and significantly less than they are accustomed to. 🛋️

We had several English Spots giving it a whirl. Approval was unanimous. 🐇💨

One of our favorite does trying out the new running table: Majestic's Broken Dreams 💔

She's gorgeous but her cage neighbor bit her nose when she was 8 weeks 😭 Every single bunny we have ever had with a bit nose was chomped by a Lionhead 🥲

Broken Dreams 💔 will never see a show table because of it.
